Does the job
Pretty good, however the opacity and consistency is a little bit questionable, but I used it for drawing and for writing and writing isn’t effected by these factors, other than that it’s decent.

Quite watery - not a solid black
I use Indian ink for solid black and white artwork. Unfortunately this ink is too watery - it pales (literally) compared to other black Indian inks that I've used over the years. I was attracted by the amount that you get in this jar, but, at least for my purposes, it's largely useless for a main drawing ink. I've given it a couple of stars as I could use it occasionally for background washes and for thinning other inks when they become too thick.
