A pretty good Nuun
This review is just for the Kona Cola flavor. My wife and I love Nuun, and use them when working out or just when we want something refreshing to drink. The Kona tablets are pretty good - the cola flavor is mild but authentic, and it has just a bit of sweetness. It's also one of two Nuun tabs that have caffeine, the other being an Arnold Palmer flavor that I have not had, but have read is not as good. The 20mg of caffeine is not a lot (according to the Mayo Clinic's website, an 8 oz serving of coffee is 100-200mg), but that little bit of boost can help with a long workout. The cola flavor DOES turn your drink light brown. It also, for whatever reason, takes a LOT longer to dissolve than other flavors. I've tested this side by side: lame for sure, but wanted to be sure I wasn't crazy.Top flavors of Nuun are Strawberry Lemonade and Triberry. I'd call this a Tier 2 flavor. If you go through as much Nuun as we do, get if for the variety and the caffeine.

One for the road...
I discovered Nuun only recently while riding the 2011 edition of RAGBRAI. The Nuun folks had booth set up at the start town and were giving out sample drinks. I gave the flavors they had on hand a try and was pleasantly surprised by the subtle flavor. I picked up a few tubes for our ride across Iowa and used the product about every fourth or fifth bottle of water for the next 450 miles. The weather this summer was brutal, 95-105F every day with high humidity. I was well hydrated the whole time and never felt I was in trouble. I can't definitely say this was due to the Nuun, but I'm glad I used it.I tried several different flavors and have discovered that my favorite is definitely the Orange. I also tried the Lemon-Lime, Citrus Fruit, and Lemon Tea (w/caffeine). They were all good but the orange flavor wins hands down for me - I think it's the hint of ginger. The only thing you need to watch for, IMHO, is letting the mixture warm up too much. Keep in mind that Nuun is slightly carbonated. If you drink half a bottle and then ride off, letting the liquid warm up, that, combined with the bouncing on the bike, will give you surprise when you open up the bottle the next time. It's best cool anyway (though warm it's a whole lot better than cloying carbo loaded drinks).Nuun has definitely become part of my cycling kit and I pretty much carry a tube everywhere, even when I'm not cycling.Aloha!

Good stuff...
I use these religiously both in winter and summer. Rejuvenates the body consistently whenever my energy is low; it has served me well both during strenuous snow shoe hikes and hot summer hikes both. Even with warm canteen water the added carbonation-like fiz it brings to the water makes it taste way better. Tri-Berry is the only flavor I use. Also works good with chemically treated water (like iodine tablets) to help mask the chemical taste. Started out only using these while hiking but now every once in a while I need them for a pick-me up at home too/ good stuff. Keep 'em in your car, bug-out bag, backpack, wherever. I promise I'm not a salesperson for the company but I just highly recommend these :)

I like most of the flavors
I use these daily, and always add them to the water in my Camelback when hiking. I think they are helpful - it's hard to tell. But I never have dehydration problems and it's likely they play a part in that. I like most of the flavors, but prefer the berry ones.I hold back a star because I think they're expensive in relation to the perceived cost of manufacture. But that doesn't stop me from buying them as the cost of dehydration for an active hiker like myself is higher.

I've been buying nuun for over a year now and this is my favorite flavor. I have low blood pressure which leads to postural hypotension, (when your vision darkens and you feel light headed after standing up quickly, especially in hot weather). I've found by using nuun regularly it really helps to replenish electrolytes and decrease the symptoms. It also tastes great and makes me happy :) I've been using these and regularly ordering them for over a year. I really like the taste of most of nuun flavors. The only one I disliked and had to throw out was the watermelon flavor in the "new nuun".

get up and keep going juice!
I an a serial hiker and biker, I hike and bike all over the world, all terrains, all altitudes and I need to keep tip top whilst I am out there maybe at high altitude,sub-zero temperatures or extreme heat. No matter where, I lose essentials minerals due to exercise and I MUST replace those or I am going to fall over; water alone is not nearly enough, so do I carry 3 litres of pre-mixed electrolite? nah! do I take a case of red bull up Mont Blanc? nah NUUN! the best! lightweight, fast dissolving and fast acting, a refreshing drink in 2 minutes which really gets you going again after flagging on a long day's trek. Go for the UK Kola coke version because it contains 45 Mg of caffeine! the USA (Nuun originates in Seattle) only has 20Mg caffeine; good but not nearly so good as 45Mg! I have actually survived a close encounter with death only by dissolving Kola nuun tablets in snow and it kept me going until I reached help - I owe my LIFE to Nuun tablets. Keep a tube in your pack ALWAYS!

Great for running recovery!
Nuun was recommended to me during my training for a triathlon. I had previously used diluted Gatorade, but it still felt heavy to me. Nuun is much lighter, dissolves in your water bottle, and has a light flavor to it. On long runs, I take the Nuun mixture with me and also use it in my recovery bottle after the run. It just has what you need in it - no sugar or other stuff. Keeps you properly hydrated during the run and aids in recovery afterwards.

Great for rehydration
Nuun tablets are fab for rehydration. They taste great - I'm a big fan of the Triberry, Tropical, and Fruit Punch. Not as sweet as some other rehydration powders I've tried, which is a relief, and they are flat rather than slightly sparkling, which suits me better. Prompt delivery and product as described.
