Works really well.
When me and my local LR friends go out green laneing. we have often been caught out with a fuel tank issue (big hole from bigger rock) we would have to make up a temp tank to get us back and Syphon fuel from the other cars. not the best tasting job to do. now it's made so easy. drop the pipe in and shake up and down then fuel starts coming out (maybe 30 times are required) This is so much easier than before. highly recommended.

A very simple and effective design
I don't know if anyone reading this review has ever syphoned petrol or diesel before, using a garden hose-pipe, but it's not very nice when you get a mouthful of liquid fossil fuel, I can assure you. With a garden hose, you have to suck the fuel up the pipe far enough to create the syphon action. The difficulty lies in knowing when to stop sucking and when to stick the end of the hose in your empty container. (very difficult to get right, with a hose you can't see through)This nifty little clear syphon pipe has a very clever, one way valve on the end, that actually draws the fuel up the pipe when you giggle it up and down, doesn't allow the fuel to run back into the tank and creates the syphon action once the fuel is high enough up the pipe, which is very easy to judge because the pipe is clear. My only slight gripe is the copper valve that does all the magic doesn't come already attached to the pipe and I can be a bit tricky to fit. I found the best way was to soak the end of the pipe in very hot water for 10-15 seconds to soften it a little before carefully inserting the copper valve. In summary - Much better, and safer than getting a mouthful of petrol or diesel!
