I've got a diamond belt on my linisher for sharpening my wood turning tools and usually do all the straight knives on it but have struggled with the serrated fruit and bread knives.These provide a quick way to touch up the serrations and bring them back to being sharp. Well quick if all they need is a touch up, more like a regrind in my case.The conical section is good for smaller serrations as you can stroke through to sharpen to points. The reversible nature of the tool has a larger diameter cylinder at the other end to cope with the larger bread knife serrations which I tackled by rotating the axis of my sharpening along the knife blade. That way I was able to reach all of the serrated surface. The flat surface on the cylindrical section is pointless, no pun intended, and there's a groove running along this portion for sharpening fishing hooks.Overall these are inexpensive and with a rinse under the tap with thorough drying before storage, the should last a while.

Useful tool for keeping small tools, knifes, etc sharp.The abrasive surface is probably not "diamond", but is long lasting. I have a couple of sharpening stones that I use or more precise work, but these are great to have in a toolbox and use for everything else.
