Essential woman was introduced to me by a friend originally for hot flashes which I was suffering periodically throughout day and night, menopause! Started taking hot flashes ebbed within a week to completely stopped by end if a month, unreal. Well that was not the only benefit yet worth every penny..my T3 and T4 started to balance, i suffer hyper, Graves Disease, within 6 months i had normal within range results and no medication. Hair was great, face glowing, energy levels up and anxiety levels down. This supplement has had many positive results for me. Lastly i suffer from RA inflamed joints, visibly inflamed. This also shows improvement on this supplement. Highly recommend. Stick with it for at least 90 days for multitude of benefits to show.

Be careful if you are trying to conceive with these. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to use these daily. (I'm Steven's wife). If you are using them trying to conceive a baby, use them with caution. I didn't know that it could suppress ovulation if used daily. They are soy isoflavones and should be used like you would use Clomid, on whatever cycle days you take Clomid (they vary based on doctor's advice). Supposedly, many women have become pregnant using this product. I've been using this product for years for many reasons. One of them is it cures my dry eyes! It helps regulate the menstrual cycle. Now that I'm trying to conceive, however, I am not going to take them daily as before. I will only use it at the beginning of my cycle. I also believe this product caused a false positive result on a digital ovulation kit. It happened twice, while my regular strips were negative, and when I tested again later in the day with the digital, it was suddenly negative again. So, I believe this is a powerful product and for that reason, please read up on soy isoflavones and for what you are using them for. I like the fact that these are encapsulated and I don't have to drink down the bottle. I've been using Barlean's products for years. They work!

Okay, I know it's a tad expensive and there are so many other products that claim to work, but Barlean's Organic Essential Woman ACTUALLY does calm the nerves, soothes symptoms of hot flashes, breast tenderness and supports healthy hair and nails. What's not to love about this!? I read all the reviews prior to buying my first bottle. I have migraines occasionally and was concerned about some of the other side effects reported by some users (such as feeling depressed) however, I can honestly report that I for one have had nothing but positive effects from this product and I am a daily user. I'm halfway finished with my 2nd bottle and I will continue to take Barlean's Organic Oils Essential Woman. Amazon's price is the best I've found (comparing it to the same bottle at Whole Foods or Sprouts). I only take 3 capsules a day. The recommended dosage is more, but I think with any supplement you have to see what works for you individually. Three capsules a day completely got rid of my hot flashes and other symptoms of hormonal changes. So there you go! Hope this helps. :-)

I was recommend these pills by a family member. I was using 700mg black Kohosh and it was working fine until I wasn't anymore. (Im in premenopause) I starting sweating like a piece of pork in the beaming son during the day and sweating like wet plastic at night. I started taking these pills 3 in the day and 3 or 2 at night and I barely sweat in the day time or night. I have been looking for something to balance my hormones naturally for over a year. I am perimenopausal, and what used to work (progesterone cream) stopped being effective even after huge increases of doses. I finally found Barlean's. After researching how important omega 3,6, & 9 (especially omega 3) are for healthy hormones, I will always keep it as a staple supplement. After two weeks of using Barlean's Essential Woman, the crazy reappearance of acne disappeared, and after one month, my period was noticeably less painful. The taste is very mild. I have taken it by itself, but prefer to add it to my smoothie. This "no flavor" formula has the highest amounts of omega fatty acids, so I prefer it over the flavored formulas.

I was so excited to receive this product as I truly thought I found something that would help my menopause symptoms. I read hundreds of reviews on here that were so positive. I was taking it consistently twice a day for 2 weeks and noticed no change at all in my hot flashes, energy levels, or libido. Bummed, because I was super stoked that I finally found something that would help. Glad it is helping so many others, but I guess its not what my body needs. The search continues.

I use it daily because it tastes so great...other omegas are pretty awful! Just bought a second one
