Mobi Technologies 70233 Beatz Buddiez Hi-Fi Amplified Mini Speaker - Retail Packaging - Butters

I mainly got this because I love Butters and I really wanted a figurine of him smiling. This is in the same price range as the regular figurines of him and the others all have him looking sad, so I decided to get this one because he's just so damned cute and happy.I figured I might as well try out the speaker and it works surprisingly well. I hooked it up to my phone and played some music. The speaker is very loud. I have it at about 3/4 volume and it's a good volume to hear the music all the way down the hall, and I don't notice any real distortion or crackling either. There's obviously not much bass, but that's to be expected from such a small speaker.The charging cable does seem a bit fragile though, so I set Butters on top of my PC case while the USB was plugged in (I wouldn't leave him dangling from the cord). And to play and charge at the same time, I set my phone on top of the PC case too (I definitely wouldn't leave my phone dangling from the cord either).

I struggle to give this product three stars. It's cute. It's Butters. The sound quality is absolutely AWFUL, though. Honestly, you get better sound out of your phones speakers. I recommend you buy another external speaker set... this one isn't worth the money at all.

I saw this and had to have it as Butters is my fav. SP character. Delivery was quick. Butters is tiny and so cute. Sound quality is what you would expect for a speaker this size, pretty good but not LOUD, nice to play in the background while I'm working. I'm very happy and will probably purchase the other SP characters at a later date.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas present; he loves it. The sound is very clear and it is a cool way to listen to tunes on your Iphone while sitting at your workdesk.

The sound distorts really badly when turned up more than a quarter of the way on an iPod or iPhone. By "distortion", I mean there's serious loud clicking twenty times louder than the music you're playing. Leaving it alone plugged in for a minute makes mine start to tick like a time bomb. Hardly have had it for a day.

Normally! Novelty speakers aren't that good(especially when they're this small) but these are actually pretty good. I bought the Kenny one seeing as he's my favorite character. Great holiday gift for any South Park fan.
