Works great for me
I'm an older woman and worked in loud environments when I was younger so my hearing isn't the best these days. I've never owned a soundbar for my TV. When this came up I thought it was a good price for a sound bar with a extra Bass. It came with all the cords needed and had very detailed directions.** Make sure when you're connecting to the rear of your TV that you are sure you're using the TV's HDMI IN/OUT port and not just the HDMI IN port.** I mistakenly connected to the HDMI IN port and after a few attempts to get the soundbar to work, it required me getting behind the TV with my flashlight and seeing my error. Once I connected it to the correct HDMI port it worked beautifully! I'm able to control the volume with my TV remote or if I wanted I could use the included remote with the bar.If this old lady could figure it out I'm sure it's a piece of cake for all the tech savvy people out there. I like how the volume is much easier to hear from my TV with the soundbar and no longer having to raise my sound level on the TV up to the 50 range.I hope this review has been helpful.

Decent sound bar for the price
So I was hoping to replace my current sound bar in my living room due to the size of it, but I won't be doing that with this unit. The sound quality is okay, but it doesn't compare to what I'm currently using. It is compact and doesn't take up much room, but definitely sacrificing sound quality for the smaller unit. It has some neat features like the lights, and will be fine for my teenager's room, but it isn't the quality I'm looking for in my living room. Also, the setup is simple enough, don't need to be an expert.

Nice sound in a smaller package
I use this with my electric drum set. I normally use headphones while drumming but my ears would usually get hot and sweaty. I would have to take breaks or sometimes just stop playing completely. So I knew external speakers was needed. They would have to be active speakers and since it's the drums, have to have some punch in the bass. Tiny desktop speakers won't cut it. Then I came across this. I like that it comes with a subwoofer which i need for that bass for the kick drum. I connect this sound bar through the AUX input from my control head's line out output. I connect an mp3 player to my drum control head to play along to music and that plays thorugh the sound bar as well. So far I am very pleased with the sound quality. Because of the subwoofer, I get the punchy bass I want. The LED lights and the fact that it connects to my phone via Bluetooth are added bonuses.

Passau Sound Bar for Smart TV with Subwoofer, 2.1ch TV Speakers Small Soundbar
This is a good starter Sound Bar set.It isn't for folks with super sensitive or audiophile type ears/listening skills, it's for people who just want a boost to their audio experience. This set belongs in a smaller room - a bedroom or den - not living room or open floor plan family gathering space. Are you going to feel like you're in the movie from this sound bar? No.Certainly there are better quality options available. That being said, this sound bar does do the job it is designed for.And it should meet the needs of the beginner soundbar user.It doesn't take up too much space so could be good for college dorm as well.Overall this is an OK item that should last a few years with routine use and care.

An Alright Sound Bar
This sound bar is alright. The main part of the sound bar is fine and sounds good. The bass isn't as much as I expected. The subwoofer is a passively driven unit and doesn't have much punch at all.The only complaint that I may have with this product is the voice that is used when switching modes. It seems to be loud regardless of sound settings and will loudly say what mode you are switching to.

Useless Subwoofer, Terrible Item. Aim For $100 To Get A Quality Soundbar
This soundbar simply isn't worth it. The subwoofer is non-existent, and the sound quality is barely better than your TV speakers. Don't waste your money on this disappointing product.Do yourself a favor and spend a little more. You can find much better soundbars at only a $100 price point that will truly enhance your home theater experience. Trust me, the difference is huge!

From an audio expert - Hot garbage!
I'm an electrical engineer and an audiophile. My car audio consists mostly of JL Audio and my home theater consists of rbh sound monstrous towers and a 9.2.4 Dolby Atmos setup.I heavily weigh my reviews based on the value of what it cost. For example, I gave a smaller cheaper sound bar four stars because of the value due to price. Please note, the power supply adapter is only 13 volts and can put out a Max of 23 Watts. That is all the power you're going to get out of this tiny little sound bar and the subwoofer, if you can even call it a subwoofer, is only a little 4-in driver in a very small ported box.Even though the Bass on this soundbar sounds better than the cheaper one, don't expect very much from any kind of low end. A good set of bookshelf speakers with 50 Watts a piece will smoke this soundbar. This sound bar would get three stars at least if the mids weren't so shrill and harsh and ultimately unbearable. In order for the music, or anything for that matter, to sound any good, I had to EQ my phone while testing over bluetooth. This may work over my phone and over Bluetooth but for movies and anything else where you won't be able to EQ it it is so harsh and shrill and it hurts the ears. I had to put Tessa tape, which is just a fabric tape, over top of the main speakers which are about 2-in drivers. That took off the very shrill mids. It still doesn't sound right and I will be getting rid of this heap of garbage as soon as possible.I've attached a picture of the EQ for reference.I've also attached a picture of the impedance sweep of the subwoofer, and the dip in the middle of the two peaks is what the port is tuned to, which for this tiny little 4-in speaker is tuned very high to 70 Hertz. That is not very deep at all.So in summary this soundbar is getting two stars because it's unusable and how shrill it is, it's very low power, and for $80 you could get something much better.
