Q: Is this a sublimation tumbler?

The shape and presence of a handle have nothing to do with this cup being able to be sublimated or not. I too, would like to know if this can be sublimated. I do however, know that the handles come off on cups you sublimate. And “being skinny” is irrelevant.

Q: Why does the straw have a glued on ring? At first I thought it would move so that you could seal around the small opening but I can't get it to budge.

Hello, the glued on ring is a straw stopper so it prevents the straw from easily falling out. Please put the straw in the cup then the lid over it. I hope this helps :)

They don’t as far as I know. I have been looking for something that would replace a broken lid and I have not been able to find one.
