I absolutely love this ice maker so far! It isn’t super noisy but isn’t quiet either, sounds a little louder than your fridge when running. The nugget ice it makes is amazing, the shape and texture are perfect. The basket holds plenty of ice and can make about two baskets with one full tank of water. Haven’t gotten to use it more than once yet but will update if I run into any issues. So far so good, thank you for the wonderful ice maker!

Makes ice OK.. a little small for my taste.. but I can live with that... BUT... three days in.. high pitch squeal that drives my wife crazy... I can barely hear it.. ( years of loud music etc I guess) Will give it a few more days.. if does not quiet down.. going back.Edit: 6mos. in.. STUPID loud.. Sounds like a kid with a new drum set.. only worse...As writing this it just went bat crap crazy knocking... no ice.. can hear it all over the house, probably next door also..Edit 2: Kudo's to Fohere.. When the ice maker went belly up I contacted Fohere through Amazon.. they requested a video showing malfunction.. after supplied they refunded $$ within 48hrs.. THAT is customer service.. I highly recommend this supplier.

The noise level is a little higher than I like but it's in the kitchen so it doesn't matter. Looks is clean. Size is about of a small microwave. It produces ice rapidly. It's very easy to use.

As an ice maker this works fine but it’s very loud.

Two months of operation so far. It is a little noisier than ads lead you to believe, with some pops and groans at random times. Am currently evaluating due to what seems to be an operational issue; I ran it through a cleaning cycle yesterday (don't really know what it "cleans", just seems to circulate water). You still have to wipe out both water chambers to get rid of mold growth, this happens even with RO water. The current issue since that cleaning cycle is that the unit makes a gurgling sound and the compressor only runs a few minutes at a time. Not much ice is made. Unplugging and restarting after a 10 minute wait seems to help, but the issue will come back eventually. It ran all night properly, but resumed acting up this morning.Overall, when it runs properly (which it did uninterrupted the first two months), it makes plenty of nugget ice.At 7 a.m. today it began a loud click-click-click.... rhythmic noise. Unplugged it for three hours, then ran a "cleaning" cycle. Clicked during that. Restarted to make ice, things run seemingly normal, clicking is muted, but no ice.Good luck finding out how to file a warranty claim. <=== (11/29/2024) There is a "contact us" link on the web site. The customer service team made the decision that I indeed had a defective unit within four emails. A replacement unit is one the way today. Info you should have available is a copy of your receipt (in my case, Amazon order page) and if possible video or audio of what's going on. I also sent a pic of the serial number sticker on the back, just in case.

First 60 days the production of ice was great no issues. The machine was cleaned as recommended. After 60 days, it stopped working. Therefore, I would not suggest purchasing this machine. This is the second (not the same brand) nugget ice machine I have purchased. The first one last about eight months. Based on review of other machines, it is assumed that none of these machines are reliable.

This ice maker is great. I had an Opal ice maker for 5 years and now wanted something smaller and easier to clean. And that is exactly what I got with this ice machine. Only noise is hearing the first few cycles of ice fall, it’s easy to clean and the ice size is perfect. Would definitely recommend.

The ice definitely does not last long in the bucket after it’s made, which ok fine, but when it melts it drains into the bin below and just sits there or over flows onto my counter. The last one I had that was very similar to this one would recycle the water back into the other water bin to continuously make ice.I don’t have this sitting by my sink so I’m constantly having to scoop the water out from below with a cup, but also have to remember to dump the ice bin after I get what I need and then shut it off or it will overflow onto my counter. It’s not noisy at all, just a lot of hassle. I would not recommend this brand, I would return it if I still had the box it came in but I don’t so just a big waste of money. Note for next time, hold on to the box for a bit til you know it’s good!
