High Intensity Law Enforcement Emergency Hazard Warning LED Mini Bar Strobe Light with Magnetic Base 12V-24V (Amber & White & Amber & White)

I had a $45 revolving light on my truck, and people ignored it. Once I found the setting I liked, I fell in love. Super bright and a major attention getter! Nobody just drives around me ignoring why the light is on anymore. Because it represents the lights on modern cop cars, they know something serious is ahead and should slow down or stop. My only fault was the rubber booties on the magnets that prevent it from scratching the paint. One carwash later, the light came off under the dryer and a bootie was forever lost. I remove the remaining bootie, and it simply can't be move, let alone blow off. I would recommend removing the booties before use at it doesn't give the magnets the hold they were designed to offer. Excellent price, extra long cord. I highly recommend this light to anyone who plows or needs to be a warning beacon, night or day.

I decided it was time to upgrade the old one - a couple of the LEDs were burned out, although with a total of 240 LEDs, that really hadn't affected the brightness. Actually, the brightness had always been one of my major complaints about the old one. But the acrylic lens has been getting more and more yellowed and scratched from being on top of my truck day in and day out, so it was time to retire it.This unit, however, has very impressive brightness, especially considering it's around the same price. My poor cell phone doesn't really do it justice. In bright sunlight, you can still see that this unit looks at least twice as bright when looking straight at it. That alone would make it worth buying again. But where it REALLY shines (yeah, pun intended) is looking at it from any angle BESIDES straight on. The old one only had a small fraction of its total LEDs that shine in any one direction, and the LEDs are very focused, so it ends up not appearing very bright at all. This new one, however, with its MUCH brighter LEDs that shine at a wider angle, looks at least 4 or 5 times as bright when looking at a 45 degree angle.One thing I will give the old one is that the magnets were VERY strong. I could even leave it on the truck when going through a carwash. The first time was by accident, but when it stayed on just fine that first time, I simply quit taking it off after that. This unit, on the other hand, takes me far less effort to pull it off the roof, so I don't think I want to risk leaving it on in the carwash.The other complaint - which is pretty much the same for any of them - is that the power cord is too short. Sure, I can plug it into an extension cord, but then I don't have easy access to the controls. The cord is long enough to comfortably reach the plug in the back seat, so I _can_ reach back to turn it on and off, but it's not convenient. For a full-size pickup truck, they really need to have a 15 foot cord instead of 10 feet.Both images are from about a 45 degree angle. Like I said, my poor phone doesn't do it justice.

But. Its leaking water inside after 20 days old or sooner

Perfect size for use as a rural mail carrier. It doesn't reach out and slap unconscious drivers, butit is very bright. I removed the magnets and used outdoor velcro to attach to the Jeep roof andattached an extension cord so that the control would be near driver's seat and be able to pluginto the full time outlet.

Red/white light delivered quickly does flash but light output low. I can not recommend for any real use. Used for first time on dark night and most vehicles could not see it.

This works really well as a safety light on my Jeep. The high intensity LED's penetrate well thru dust clouds when running in a convoy offroad. The magnets are strong, it's never moved on the roof and goes thru the touchless carwash without moving also. Easy to control the flashing modes. I tend to use the mode where it cycles thru all it's various modes for better random flashing. I will buy this again if I need another or manage to break this one.

We purchased 2 and originally I was going to use the second as a back up in the event the first one died. However, our little field ambulances were kept so busy we pressed into service the second one and our stand-by quad. These two units were going from 7 AM to 6 PM for 2 days almost non-stop and left on when on the field working on a player and never had a problem. They were very visible and impressive even without having the siren on and helped clear a path thru over 3500 people on the soccer field during the event. In our case since the cab cover was fiberglass we double taped a sheet of sheet metal to the roof, and stuck the lights on; they never moved, even when going over the grass or in the parking lot popping curbs.I would recommend this to anyone

I really liked this light but it quit working the 2nd day I had it. Review would have been better if it had stayed working
