Good quality and well made Makita compatible charger. Tested on a 3Ah battery which charged from almost flat to fully charged in around 20mins.Lights and sounds function as the should and no noise or heat from the unit while working.Good replacement or second charger and well priced too.

A very good replacement OEM battery charger for the Makita series batteries. Not dissimilar in construction so should last whether in the shed, rattling about in the van between jobs or on site. Quickly charges the batteries as described and does not run a full charging cycle when not required, I put in a full battery and within a minute the lights indicated it was fully charged so should reduce any overcharging stress on the battery cell.Price does seem comparable with some genuine Makita DC18RC chargers I have found on Amazon.Not so sure though on the requirement of having Mozart play when the battery is charged.All in a very good charger that works with Makita batteries including the LXT range.

As the title says it looks like a Makita charger and plays the same tune when you insert the battery however this charger does not have the built in cooling fan like on my genuine charger that keeps the battery cool whilst charging and this charger runs hot as well.It's also quite a bit lighter than an original, true it does indeed charge my genuine batteries but I don't like them getting to warm whilst on charge.

This charger is compatible with and a perfect fit for Makita battery packs and is a direct replacement for the DC18RC 7.2V-18V fast battery charger.The charger is equipped with a good cooling system which should extend its life, and a simple to read display with indicator lights so you can see at a glance the status of your battery.The charger has charged quickly and reliably so far and takes under an hour.It is very affordable with a good saving compared to the price of the OEM.It’s a little bit more plasticky feeling and perhaps a bit lighter but other than that it performs perfectly with no discernible hotspots and seems both well made and fairly priced.I love my Makita tools and batteries but I’ve found the chargers don’t always seem to last so I’m happy to try this replacement one which seems good value.I will update this review should I run into any issues.I hope you find my review helpful.

This battery charger is an ideal replacement if your old one is starting to struggle or has died completely.It's quick and easy to slot your batteries in and start charging and it has light indicators to let you know th charging status and when it's finished.So far, it's done a good job without any drops in power or major overheating from what I've noticed, so I'm hoping that continues.The case is plastic and it doesn't feel the most durable or premium, but time will tell how long it ends up lasting.All in all, it's a good replacement charger.

The charger is quite light but it does the job perfectly!!! Charged my battery quickly and was easy to insert and remove the battery from the charging station.Fitted with a compliant UK plug.
