A tantalising and heart stopping romance
I’m totally in love with Honey Mountain and Simply Mine only strengthened my love for this series and this author. This best friend’s brother romance completely charmed me and I couldn’t tear myself away from this read. I just love Laura Pavlov’s sexy, heartfelt and emotional stories. She has the golden touch when it comes to delivering stories that touch your heart while bringing all the sizzle. And witnessing the Thomas sisters finding their happily ever afters is truly addictive. What an exceptional addition to the already amazing Honey Mountain series!A gorgeous brother’s best friend romance that is sweet and sexy, I fell hard for these characters, and I loved their story. Charlie has had a life long/childhood crush on her best friend’s older brother, Ledger. And with whom she shares a secret past. But when Ledger comes home for his younger sister's wedding, a fiery attraction between them begin to blur the lines between them. When they decide to have a week of no-strings attached fun, it is intense and all-consuming, and they give each other what they’ve been missing. But with an aversion to commitment, Ledger is so ready to push Charlie away after a week and say goodbye to what they could have. But what I loved more than anything was the real and volatile emotions that Ledger felt. On one hand he has always loved Charlie (unbeknownst to her) throughout his life, but his fear of not being enough for her and being torn in so many directions was so powerful. The emotions he felt were so real and raw, I could not help but ache for him. Charlie and Ledger had so many obstacles and indecisions in their love sick hearts but once they went all in, love did all the work for them. I loved how everything played out once they realised what they were willing to fight for, and the gesture at the end was totally swoony. An intense and swoonworthy love story that I absolutely adored. From start to finish, this tantalising, tender-hearted tale was brimming with heat, heart, humour….and heart-stopping romance! Simply Mine brought all those sweet, swoony and steamy moments I look for in a romance. I loved Charlie and Ledger’s story so much. The rest of Charlie’s family are a big part of the story of course, and I loved seeing them again. The couples from previous books are still loved up and happy, and there is a great set-up for Charlie’s twin, Dylan, up next, and I seriously can’t wait to get to her book!

Charlie and the Unresolved Trauma Factory
This book focuses on the sweet as sugar Kindergarten teacher Charlotte. The school year is coming to a close and with it comes her best friend Jilly’s wedding. She couldn’t be more excited to watch her friend say I do, but the only catch is that Jilly’s to hot for his own good older brother is back in town. The three have known each other since forever and unbeknownst to anyone (except for Ashlan), Charlotte and Ledger have a complicated past. But the heart knows what the heart wants. Even if it’s just for a few weeks. Ledger being back in town stirs up a lot of feelings they thought they had gotten over. He can’t offer her anything more than a fling, but the thought of Charlotte being with someone else drives him crazy. And Charlotte doesn’t do temporary, but she’s throwing her rules out the window for once in her life.Things might not have gone so well the first time around, but they’re older and more mature now. The question is, can these two friends stick to what they promised each other? Or will this get more complicated than they bargained for? This book is so precious. I cried like a baby towards the end. Charlotte might be one of my favorite sisters. She’s so kind and I love that she doesn’t change herself for anyone. Even when she’s stepping out of her comfort zone, she knows where the line is and I admired that about her. Love is complicated and keeping your heart safe is a gamble, but knowing when you deserve more is so important. Ledger on the other hand is a hot mess. He’s dealing with a lot of trauma from his past but when it comes down to it, he’s a sweetheart. There were times when I wanted to smack him across the face for being a big dummy, but he gets there in the end. That’s what counts. To sum it up, they’re both cute as heck together, but the amount of time it takes for them to get on the same page is so frustrating. Ledger could probably benefit from some therapy. The book is second chance-y without dwelling on the past too much. There’s sneaking around, spice, heart, no miscommunication, and of course a HEA!!! Soooo all in all a super cute and fun read. For anyone that read my review of the previous book, Dilly isn’t so horrible anymore. 😂 She’s still silly but in a way that more tolerable and I think I’ll grow to like her. We’ll see how I feel now that it’s her time to shine.I’m very excited to continue the series!

A Stubborn Lover
A great read! I loved this story too! All of the sisters in these books are adorable and you have to read them all and in order! Charlotte, a kindergarten teacher, and Ledger, the hot friend that she had known all her life, try a stunt that backfires!

liked it
I maybe didn’t pay much attention to Charlotte in the other books because I wasn’t so intrigued by her but it was still a great book. I don’t like that they didn’t hang out with the firefighters or her sisters like the rest of the books. I can’t wait for Dylan!!!!!

Old school love
This is Charlotte's story, the quiet, serious Thomas sister. She has been in love with her best friend's brother forever and little does when know he feels the same. Ledger tries to resist Charlie because he doesn't want to be like his dad. That man (I use the term loosely) is a piece of work. It's a good story of best friends finding their way back to each other. Drama and plenty sexy times round out the story.

I was completely charmed
POV: First person / DualGenre: Small Town / Sisters Best Friend / First Love / Second Chance / Friends-with-Benefits / Family SagaSimply Mine was the perfect balance of heart and heat, Ledger and Charlotte were childhood friends who had a chance to explore things further years ago, but his fear of commitment and the fact Charlotte was his sisters best friend forced him to push her away. Now they’re both back in their hometown for his sisters wedding, and the connection between them is just as strong as it was years ago.Ledger and Charlotte were flirty yet adorable in their approach towards each other, and I loved how repairing their lost friendship was their baseline and how it led to them being honest and open about their ‘arrangement’ whilst Ledger was in town. Their honesty made the transition from friends to lovers feel incredibly authentic.I loved the bond that both Ledger and Charlotte had with his grandmother, she was hilarious and heartwarming! She was an absolute cracker to read about, with her blunt, hilarious and sass!Simply Mine had me charmed throughout, there was chemistry, connection, tension, hope and heart, all rolled into one wonderful book.

5 stars!
Wow. What a book. Just wow. This book was such a rollercoaster of emotions, it had it all. I cried, I laughed and above all, you felt the emotions coming through the pages. You were in there with the characters. It all felt so realistic and very relatable, and that's the magic of this author. We got to know Charlotte in her sister's books and I must say I didn't really feel anything for her before. Yes, she was a nice girl, but she was always so much on the background that it was so good her story got here right now. Because she is such a strong woman, such a badass and I absolutely fell in love with her. Ledger was just as dreamy and although he struggled with lots of thoughts, he got better and better with every page I read. I felt and fell for these characters and now I can't wait for Dylan's story. This was a great, heartfelt and wholesome book and I definitely recommend it to anyone!

Honest Review
This is book 4 of the Honey Mountain Series and this one was just as adorable as the last three!Ledger and Charlie have known each other since they were young. Both grew up with losing a parent figure, Charlie lost her mom to cancer and Ledger’s dad left his mom for another woman. They leaned on each other and created a bond so strong! Ledger had come to town for his sisters wedding and him and Charlie reconnected in this book. This is so sweet and I think Nan is my favourite character! She has a spitfire attitude and knows what to say to get peoples heads on straight.I do think that there was a little confusion in this book as to whose idea it was to have the short fling.. but it worked itself out in the end. Also, couldn’t figure out why Charlie never got the hint that Ledger did actually like her.. would have saved so much time!Recommending to sweet romance lovers!
