Has a few issues but very useful
The quality is not exactly in line with the price, in my opinion. The instructions were a bit confusing, along with some difficulty assembling, but I eventually figured it out & got it assembled. It states that it's waterproof, but I wouldn't trust it to be 100%, especially in melting snow. Speaking of snow, we get heavy snow in my area & the weight of a few inches may be too much for this house to hold. It came with a nice heating pad but I recommend using caution with this because it's electric & again, there may be moisture that wouldn't mix well with anything electric. However, it's not all bad. After I got it assembled, my indoor cats claimed it before I could get it out of the house. They loved it & I felt bad taking it away from them to put outside. The outdoor cats were skeptical, but I've caught them going in & out. I haven't put the heating pad in yet, as our weather hasn't gotten to that point yet. I do see this as something that will be very beneficial once the temperature starts dropping. I like that it's elevated, that will be helpful once we get a few inches of snow. I do have concerns about the cats weight inside, so I may reinforce the bottom. I'm going to relocate it to an area under an awning for my waterproofing concerns but if the cats don't seem to like that area I may try to figure out a way to reinforce the sides & roof as well, with a waterproof material. At least the seams where the Velcro is. Overall I would recommend it for a lower price, with a coupon or on sale. I love the color, it actually matches a lot of my outdoor decor & will match my windows after remodeling is complete.

Cat house is sturdy enough, but electrical cable is not fully weatherized and reinforced
Assembly of this was really straight-forward; the walls velcro together, and then you sorta fold some bits at the top over so that the roof can velcro in place. The heating comes from a separate heating pad (actually pretty much identical to another heating pad I reviewed not too long ago), and there's a metal loop that you run the electrical cord through. The electrical cord is weatherized and chew resistant, but only for about half the length of it, which is why I give this four stars out of five. There are a couple of clear plastic flaps on the front, but I found that my "test cat" only wanted to go into it with one of the flaps removed. Thankfully, this is easy to do, since the flaps are just velcroed on as well. While it is currently summer time, and we don't exactly need any heated houses, it does seem like it holds the heat well; we had a decently cool night for this time of the year, and it held at around 85F inside when it was 61F outside. The outside is definitely water resistant as well. All in all, the construction of the cat house itself is pretty good, but I do have to criticize the lack of weatherizing on the cable itself. Since this is intended for outside use, it needs to be able to seriously stand up to the elements (and other critters).

Expensive but looks comfortable
About one year ago, this emaciated calico cat showed up at my back door. She was extremely vocal and affectionate but looked like she wouldn't live longer than a few days. (Notice how scrawny her tail still was in the photo). Her ear was clipped so she was a catch and release cat, but way too friendly to have been feral. Anyhow, I fed her and gave her some love. Within a few short weeks, she great the most beautifully thick coat and she gained enough weight that I no longer feared for her life. She became the loveliest cat I have ever had the privilege to care for. Unfortunately, I already have a cat that won't tolerate any other pets in the house, so this little calico became our family's outdoor cat. She seems to prefer it that way anyhow.I live in Florida so it doesn't get all that cold, but we do get some crazy weather. When it's below 50 at night, I let the calico in a spare room so she doesn't get too cold. And this cat house will provide extra protection and comfort for her when there is rain or heavy wind. I was concerned that she would feel trapped inside the cat house, but there's an "escape" route, a back door! I love the design and simple set up. The interior is plush and theres a coil-type cord to plug in the heated mat. I have just the spot for this cat house on my back patio. I can't speak for how long it will last outside, only time will tell. So far, I really like the design and protection it will provide.

Easy to Assemble
This is super easy to assemble- industrial velcro for the house itself and the removeable clear plastic doors. It is elevated, but not too far, so the bottom will stay out of the wet and there is an air barrier under it.The heated pad is waterproof, so no need to worry about incidental water getting on it, or wet paws. The cover comes off to easily throw int he wash. It's roomy enough for a bigger cat to stretch out, but not so big that a lone smaller cat can't stay warm.It has some features I have not seen on other feral/ outdoor cat houses. It comes with extra straps to wrap around it so the top won't blow off at all in the wind. It also has 4 straps on the bottom with grommets so you can strap it down to a surface so it won't slide or move. And it has *2* doors, one on each end, which ferals love. And, instead of having to feed the cord through the door or between velcro panels, it has a built in port for the cord. So nice. This is a super nice outdoor cat house.

Love love love!!
This product is so cool! It’s easy to put together. The sides, doors and roof are all velcro. But it does seem very sturdy! Obviously it’s summer so I can’t tell how well it will hold up in the winter but I gotta say it feels durable. The heating pad goes inside the comfy little bed and there is a small hole in the corner of the tent to let the power cord out. The cord itself is pretty long so it should reach an outlet easily. It did get pretty warm when I tried it so that’s good! I really like that the roof attachment has some solid boards that slide into pockets on the inside, helps keep the roof more sturdy. The tent itself is on little legs to keep it off the ground. Over all a great product that I can’t wait to use. Good for indoor/outdoor cats and even strays if your heart so desires. Large enough that 2 cats could be in there comfortably (though they would need to cuddle!)
