Okay I’ll be honest you will need something hard to smack the poles in but once u get everything pretty much in for the base justSmack all four corners on the ground to really push em in and then you’re set. I already stuck my hand inside and it felt warm for the outdoor cats I take care of. The build quality seems great, assembly took me maybe 10 minutes at five a.m. the design is nice that they can probably stand up in to move around with the roof function design. Very spacious hoping this will help atleast 2 kitties stay warm this winter along with my other house. They are used underMy gazebo. I’ll post back if any rain or snow gets inside. Also the plastic door covers are Velcro So you can take em off. Great cat house thank you so much!

The cat house itself was very easy to assemble! It's fairly spacious and heats up enough that I think combined with their body heat it will keep the cats warm and shielded from the elements during the winter.The support that elevates it though was so incredibly frustrating to put together; the pipes just would not go together and in the end I had to try and force it with duct tape. Duct tape didn't really help either so the cat house is sat on the ground now. Thankfully it doesn't change much to have them on the ground instead!

It is sturdy, nice looking, and came with everything. As most items these days the instructions lacked, but It was not difficult to figure out. You just must look closely at the photographs with the instructions to be sure and think through everything as you but it together.I did use a hammer to gently tap the connectors as I put it together and then again a few times to be sure the bed actually 'stretched' far enough to fasten the bed to the frame.The insides seem comfy and the mat is soft. So far I have not seen the 2 outdoor kitties go in, but it will take time. I will plug it in today and check the temperature.

Overall, this thing’s pretty great. Except I found out the hard way. It’s definitely not waterproof. My cat is soaking wet in the middle of November and the hole inside of the roof is wet when I touch it. Luckily the pad inside is not wet yet. I will have to start covering it with a tarp or something I guess. With the money that I paid for it, it would be real nice for it to do what it says it does.

Paid good money and it didn't stay warm at all. Would not recommend .

My outdoor cats will be warm and cozy in the new home. However, the in structure provided to elevate the house needs better instructions. Overall it is worth the price to keep them safe from the cold, rain snow.

I live in a cold region when it comes to winters. Bought this for the stray cat my wife started feeding. Over a year later it's still going strong and the stray is now part of the family.

we have a feral cat around our town and she has 5 kittens... so I've been feeding the cat and her brood for about 5 months now... winter is soon setting in so I bought 2 of these as a test to see if the kittens (and more importantly her smaller runt kitten Calico) would like to get used to them ... best buy ever! the kittens and the mom are getting used to spending the nights in these rather than at the nearby abandoned building... I'm buying two more for the other 2 adult cats we're feeding as well... awesome price point! and the plug ins work well Thank you!

It's a super cute little cat house and it keeps them dry. However, the heat in it is not super warm for them, but both of my cats fit in there perfectly with a food dish and they love it
