I rarely leave reviews. Halfway through my first bar of this soap. None of that residue feeling on my skin, and no residue in the shower (I always rinse the shower afterward, but regular bar soap always leave a film regardless). There's a little bag you can put the bar in which exfoliates as you wash. Skin feels amazing. And it(I) smell(s) wonderfully fresh! Gets very sudsy but lasts a long time too. Quite impressed, and buying more now.

This soap is gentle and easy on the skin. Its a good value for daily soap. Have been using for 1 month with 4 people and still plenty left. Its not the cutest looking soap but it lathers well and does the job well.

I bought this because it says it keeps away old people smell, and I need some insurance for myself. I bought it for the price, because there is another brand that is more expensive and it only contains one bar of soap. It doesn’t foam very well, and I’m not sure it is actually doing anything. But if you’re self-conscious about old people smell it might be something to try.

The soap bar smells nice but not too strong. It lathers up good and cleans pretty well. The included mesh bag is useful as well.I find it too pricey for what it is though. I would only consider these if there's discount going.

Not as good as a 9.99 bar of Naturla persimmon bar soap. I felt very clean and there was a sort of glow to my skin, with the sngle bar of persimmon soap for 9.99. This item i just purchased for the same price but has 2 bars, just doesnt make my skin feel as clean as if a film was left on the skin. Ill pay more for the singlebar that has green tea in it and will not repeat this latest soap purchase. It doesnt do as good a job on oder either.

This 2 PCS Persimmon Soap Bar seems to be a nice soap.It is a persimmon-y orange color, and somewhat translucent in appearance.The scent is not really what I'd identify with persimmon - kind of citrus-y, along with a soapy smell (as you would expect from soap), perhaps because the active ingredient is more concentrated than in a persimmon fruit. Anyways, it is a pleasant scent.The soap lathers nicely and washes well. I haven't noticed any skin irritation or other issues.The "old people soap" thing is because older people (which can start in the 30s-40s, not necessarily elderly) can develop a distinctive smell associated with lipid breakdown which persimmon specifically combats. I can't really speak to the effectiveness of this product for this purpose, but, being in my 40s, I like having that extra assurance. I don't know if this is as effective for the hormonal sort of body odor of teens and younger adults, but it should be safe, and effective in a general soapyness sense, for anyone to use.
