Works great for moss poles
I diy my own moss poles and this brick works great! Expands a LOT with water. Make sure to thoroughly wet the material, drain, and enjoy!

Not my favorite but good still
I recently purchased the Halatool 8.4OZ Green Forest Moss for my orchids and other houseplants, and I’m quite satisfied with the quality! The moss is fluffy and visually appealing, making it a lovely addition to my plant displays. It provides excellent moisture retention while ensuring good drainage, which is crucial for my orchids. One drawback is that the fibers are a bit too long and have a strange texture, almost like yarn. This can make it harder to work with than expected.Overall, I recommend this moss for anyone looking to enhance their indoor gardening experience. It’s a fantastic product that adds both beauty and functionality!

Good stuff
First time I get a moss brick! It's so compressed you can't break it, but just soak it in water and wait for the magic to happen. This is just moss, I really don't know the difference or if this is better or worse than others. I have used it to make a kokedama and it's my first time doing it.I will use the leftover in pots to add some esthetic look, as well as to protect those plants that don't appreciate winter so much.

Moisture-Retaining Moss for Houseplants
I am using this moss to keep a few of my plants hydrated, particularly orchids and a carnivorous Cape Sundew. I have the moss mixed in with the soil and bark a bit, as well as layered on top of my pots, to retain moisture and hide the soil. The moss makes the pots look a little more "finished, rather than just having the loose soil visible around a plant. So far, the moss is working; it insulates the soil and seems to hold in moisture. When the moss arrives in shipment, it is in a very flat rectangle. The moss itself is dry and flakes off in layers. Although it only mentions it in the product photos, and not the packaging, the moss has to be rehydrated and soaked in water for a few hours before using, to fluff up and take on the traditional mossy texture. It's hard to work with and almost powdery, otherwise.

Seems clean
I've not bought sphagnum moss before so this is a rookie's opinion. This is labeled Forest Moss. I've seen videos where people are regrowing dried sphagnum moss. I tried it with moss but was unsuccessful. I'm typically very good with plants so I thought regrowing would be easy.It does hold a good amount of water and seems clean. I didn't see any foreign matter in the package.

Great for Orchids and Indoor Plants
This sphagnum moss is excellent for repotting my orchids. It is fluffy, retains moisture well, and looks natural in my pots. My plants are thriving with it, and I appreciate the high quality and consistency of the moss. A must-have for any indoor gardener looking for high-quality moss for their potted plants.

Eh...
I ordered this because it looked different than the normal sphag moss I get for my seedlings. It's pretty expensive for the amount you get (look at dimensions) compared to other brands. The texture is hard to describe, not soft and fluffy like other sphag, but more fibrous and less water retentive. Not a fan.
