We are impressed by this play food set, which features favorite colorful fruits. Each wooden fruit is well made, with a smooth finish, painted details, and strong velcro holding the pieces together. The fruits alone are worth purchasing. The set also includes four little boxes, with colored signs for sorting the fruits. We like that the color names are printed out so kids can get used to reading them. The crates themselves are not super tough, but they should be ok if not roughly handled. There are two wooden plates, two wooden knives, and two cloth napkins also included in the set. All of these are fine additions, but our favorite parts are still the fruits. We like the versatility of the entire set, which our grandkids like for their play kitchen and play grocery store. The set comes in a sturdy box, and could be wrapped up for a very nice gift. Five stars for this!

This fruit and plate play set is adorable! Each color comes with 3 types of fruits and is titled by color. This helps clean up to be fun because my kiddos have to correctly sort each in the right category. Storage is nice and neat and fits perfectly in their play kitchen. This has kept them entertained for hours, playing pretend. It’s wood so this will last for years to come! It comes with 2 reusable napkins, 2 wooden plates and 2 wooden knifes. Perfect little set and perfect for us cause I got 2 kiddos so they don’t fight over it. I would definitely buy this again as a gift set.

These are very basic and very simple representations of fruits and veggies with a pair of nice little napkins and plates. The velcro is fairly strong so it might be hard for some kids to get them apart. That also means they will likely last longer (I hope). My only other issue with them was that they came in the cardboard box with some simple wooden structure inside the box. It was kind of hard to figure out how to get them back in and make them fit and I am a little worried about keeping the cardboard box and that the little kids will not be able to properly put it away. My guess is that in the long term, they will just go into a bin and we will ditch the box so maybe that isn't that bad. In the end, I like the simplicity of it and just hope they don't throw them.

Busy Edition wooden food cutting and sorting play set is nice. The bright colors and details are well done and the velcro is securely attached. There is a felt leaf detail on the strawberry and persimmon. The velcro gives that nice resistance when cut and that realistic crunch sound that students love. There are 4 wooden sorting crates in this set and two cute kid sized cloth napkins. There are 2 nice solid wood knives to share. You can never have enough of those in the classroom.With 3 fruits for each color these will look fantastic in your dramatic play space. Whether it is a farm stand, grocery store, market or just a kitchen and fridge, these will make great play resources for your students. There are also 2 plates for serving up your fruit salad. Great set, sanded, safe and beautiful. Good purchase.

This is a good play set for your child. It has many different play foods for them to play with. The size of each part is large enough so as not to be a choking hazard. And they are easily handled by your child to help maintain their attention for play. The price of this set is not too high so it is affordable. And they are made fairly well so as not to break too easily. This is a good set to add to your child's learning platform.

This toy is great for practicing gross motor skills with toddlers. The veggies and fruit are a good size velcro. They come wrapped up in paper, but the smooth wooden material is easy for disinfecting after use. The design is cute and there is a variety of fruits and veggies. It's a good value for everything it comes with since they can also sort the pieces into colors!

This wooden food play set with fruits and veggies is one of the better ones I've seen. The pieces are all well made- smooth and paint is even with no visible chips or scrapes. The wooden boxes they come with are clearly marked with colors and the name of the colors written on them. This is great for sorting activities.The fruit and veggies can be 'cut' using the play knife. The velcro holding them together is adhered well. The little checkered placemats are very cute too. Overall, this is a great set that the kids have enjoyed playing with.

Toddler enjoys cutting these fruits in half and is learning to sort them. The fruits themselves are pretty good quality, as well as the velcro. And the designs of the insides are accurate for pretend play items.This set feels like just 1/2 of a full set. It would be great if more colors and fruit options could be covered in an expansion pack, such as blueberries, grapes, plums, etc.
