Excellent Skin Product Definitely Relieves Pain But Tastes Sweet
The media could not be loaded. This is a great skin product. The oil is completely clear, the spray gives a good amount and it spreads really well and easily. A little goes a long way. It leaves the skin feeling moist and refreshed with a coolness to it, if a little, very little, tackiness. I use it all over, including my face. It seems to help with heat-induced leg ache, which completely went after a few days. My legs have no dry skin and my face has fewer fine lines. I also use it on my husband and massage it in all over, especially his legs and feet. He loves the sensation and says his feet hurt less since we've been using it.The ingredients are listed as Magnesium Chloride Brine, which suggests it should taste rather salty, yet it actually has a sweet taste and a sensation on the tongue identical to Glycerine. Glycerine is widely used as a skin conditioner,so that is not a problem but it should be listed as an ingredient. The expiration date gives three years, which is excellent and it won't last that long in our house. The product is excellent and I heartily recommend it.

Excellent Magnesium Oil Spray - Prevents Nightly Calf Cramps
I have been using the Pure Magnesium Oil Spray for the past 12 months, and it has proven to be very effective at preventing cramps in my calves when I'm in bed at night. This natural magnesium oil spray is easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin. The 2.0 fl oz size is perfect for regular use and ensures I always have a handy supply. My calves feel more relaxed, and I have experienced significantly fewer cramps since incorporating this spray into my nightly routine. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with similar issues

Unlikely much magnesium is absorbed as this is a brine not an oil
The ALIVER Pure Magnesium Oil Spray arrives in a film wrapped printed cardboard box. The film wrap is not recyclable.Printed on the box are the ingredients (magnesium chloride in brine - so not an oil), the expiry date (28/05/2027) and the product benefit claims, There is no GMP logo on the product - GMP is important for product quality. The bottle contains 60 ml of Magnesium chloride in a brown glass bottle with a spray top.The spray has a significant volume in a single spray - and does feel oily - although there is no oil in the ingredients. There is no scent and the brine preparation leaves no residue on the skin. The question of the absorption through the skin of magnesium when magnesium brine is applied is an important one to answer. The internet is full of confident statements about the transdermal absorption of Mg but the research literature is far less certain. The skin is not permeable to ionic products due to its lipid layer. However some ions such as Mg may cross through hair follicles and sweat glands but hair follicles and sweat glands constitute only 1% of the skin surface - so if it does happen then this way then this is not efficient. The research shows that some lipid formulations with Mg in them can increase the absorption of Mg - but this preparation is a brine. The NHS does not recommend transdermal as a route for magnesium treatment. So overall this preparation may be pleasant to spray on skin but if you really need magnesium there are better ways to receive it.

This oil seems to have a dermatological use as well
Starting to use this spray was the first time I had ever come across magnesium oil. The skin around the ankle bones of both my feet is very dry and so every morning and after my shower at night I spray the tiniest amount of oil and massage it into the dry skin. It is very quickly absorbed and after only a couple of minutes the treated area feels dry.The dry skin is very slowly receding leaving pink skin behind! This is after three weeks. It is something that neither five brands of over the counter medication nor two different prescription creams have managed over the last four years! They all were oily and felt slimy on my skin, and no matter how intense and prolonged the rubbing or massaging little of the "goos" seemed to be absorbed. They all left a residue. Of course, the contrast might be because this magnesium oil is not an oil at all. Rather it is an emulsion based on a saline solution. No feeling of sliminess and no residue.I'm not really sure about the other properties attributed to magnesium oil. First, I experienced no itching at all. Second, I don't think this is improving my sleep but how would I measure it? Third, for alleviating aches and pains should it be necessary to spray the oil onto the aching limb or will its absorption anywhere suffice? It may be that I'm being too economical with my spraying, but even at the low rate that I'm using it and that only twice a day, I am very impressed!
