RTJ 300 lbs Capacity Pneumatic Mechanic Roller Seat Adjustable Rolling Stool, Black

I ordered one of these together with the suggested alternative wheels and it was far better and more comfortable than the Harbor Freight padded tractor type roller seat that I had been using and that broke. I liked this item so much, I ordered another for the garage at my home in Nevada! They are sturdy and very comfortable. I highly recommend replacing the wheels, however with the 8T8 3" silicon wheels recommended by others who have evaluated this product. They help it roll over surfaces that are not smooth such as an asphalt driveway. ,

The seat is comfortable but it is not as strong as it should be. I sat down a little off center towards the back corner and the seat corner bent and I almost fell backwards. I ended up bending the other corner down to make the seat even on both sides and now I am very careful not to sit too far back. I would have returned it but I am disabled and that would have taken more effort than I was willing to deal with.

Nice unit; what I was looking for.Plan to use it for working on my truck and detailing lower sections.

This chair has come in handy. My brother in law is 6’ 3 and 260lbs.with low back issues and this chair has saved him much discomfort, he restores vintage vehicles as a hobby and loves this seat on wheels, he has used it daily for 8 months now and has had no issues with it at all. Very well made and sturdy.

Very well made, seems sturdy, steel base plate. Seat is comfy, and height adjustment works well. Very comfortable for me being over 6’ tall. The only change I made was to order some $25, 8T8 3” rollerblade replacement casters along with this order, as I could tell it came with the typical cheap casters that wear quickly. HUGE difference, and is just the thing to make this chair perfect and smooth rolling.

I'm a photography student. There are times that I must drop my tripod low or take photograph at an angle or from a lower angle. My old Army knees just couldn't handle it. This mechanic's chair was the perfect solution.

I've had this for about a month now, and I have gotten a lot of use out of it. It was super easy to put together (no tools needed) and seems well built. It's pretty comfortable and I have no complaints so far. The tray underneath is great for storing wrenches, lug nuts, or whatever you are working with.

Looks like a nice chair, but the seat is not level. It slopes down hill, because the weld is not applied correctly.Not meant to be like this.... needs a fix! Had a pro lift chair where the seat fell off due to the weld not fixed either, so spent more money and now disappointed!
