Rambling stories of an era that has little documented
The narrative is rambling in nature and at times without context for the tales. However for those readers who are even vaguely familiar with the 80s underworld in Mumbai this is a good, solid read. Given there are very few books of this period Gabriel Khan does a good job of pulling together the stories of key characters from the underworld. Recommended for a good read for those interested in the Mumbai of the 80s.

Easy read
Nothing out of the ordinary. Simple yet similar stories. Easy to read and not heavy duty. Not as good as Hussain zaidi books

Boring dull book
Was such a mission completing this book. The writer just keeps on repeating himself. Every chapter ends with" No Idea what happened to the woman" The writer has no idea to bring the reader in like his mentor Zaidi. I just found the Mumbai mafia really not that interesting like South American cartels or the Italians. If you have trouble sleeping then this book will put you to sleep.

4 stars
It is a nicely written book which has some of the most interesting stories of Mumbai underworld. Being a millennial who grew up in Mumbai, it was a crazy experience reading these stories of underworld crimes which were happening while I was going to school as a teenager. It was like a parallel world to the one I was living in, which had murders on the streets (that now I have traveled on) involving AK-47. It is worth a read. After finishing this book now I am craving for the full story. I might take up Dongri to Dubai soon.

Good timepass read
It's a good timepass read. But many paragraphs are copied from old newspaper and Wikipedia, don't know if the writer is same or different for book and newspaper. Searching any gangster name in Google can give you exact paragraphs which you have read in the book.Overall I am a fan of crime Stories so it was the good read for me.

A MINI ENCYCLOPEDIA ABOUT THE HITMEN OF THE MUMBAI UNDERWORLD AS WELL AS A THRILLER...
Kudos to the author... I have read many books relating to the Mafia. But this book was really interesting as it was about the hitmen of the Mafia Underworld. It has been well researched and penned in such a way that the readers don't get bored... In short, I really loved reading this work... But I do recommend anyone who intends to read this book not to compare it with the works of Zaidi as this is a book penned on a different subject....

Thrilling Mafia Tales..
Thrilling tales about the Bombay mafia focussing on some infamous hitmen of different gangs..Could do with more details & revealing certain open secrets though.Anyways, it was a very racy, easy, well written & interesting book. Hugely enjoyed it.

Well described
Very well written and explained and every character is special. In its own way.mafia is one of the topics that a lot of Hollywood movies and web series have got inspired from, ganglands of Mumbai, police corruption, corrupt politicians why is it that nobody has thought of make a web series out of it.

Good read
Good content to read. But itwould have been better if the writer has added pic of each Hit man

Below Par writting
Not an interesting read at all. The book is more a minutes of the meeting rather than a well-constructed memoir. This is last purchase for books authored by Gabriel Khan. Enough said !!
