Zoe loves Ali!!
The media could not be loaded. We have a little rescue 10 pound Yorkie/Lhasa Apso mix who we love to spoil! I order the Kyjen Egg Babies Alligator for Zoe for Valentine's Day (I told you we spoil her!). Zoe especially like squeaky toys (the nosier, the better) so I knew she would like the "eggs" even if the alligator itself wasn't a success. But, as soon as I got the alligator out of the gift bag on Valentine's Day (yes, I actually used a gift bag!), she started jumping up and trying to grab the alligator as I was stuffing three of the balls into the alligator's tummy. The elastic was quite tight, so this was not an easy task! Zoe found it difficult to get the ball out when I gave it to her but she was biting it and making it squeak so she was happy with it! After about 5 minutes of biting and shaking it, I thought she may be getting a bit frustrated so I took it and pulled one of the eggs out about a quarter of the way and then gave it back to her. After more biting and ferocious shaking (the terrier in Zoe was evident!), she successfully got out one of the balls... I mean eggs! Now the fun really began! She absolutely loves the eggs.. they are just the perfect size for her to throw up in the air and chase! Plus they are very squeaky which Zoe enjoys biting beside her Daddy's chair as he is watching TV!It has now been a week since Zoe got Ali (of course we named him!) and Zoe loves him just as much as the first day. She is now able to get all three of the eggs out of his tummy with a little bit of determination. I haven't noticed her playing particularly with Ali once his eggs are removed, although she did bring him to bed with her one night, but as soon as I pick him up to refill him with eggs, she once again starts jumping up as if to tell me to hurry up! Ali has replaced the squeaky mouse toy we got at Costco as Zoe's most favorite toy! Now, I just need to figure out how to get Ali away from Zoe long enough to give him a well deserved bath!Al has a stuffed head but the rest of him in unstuffed, with an stretchy opening in his tummy in which to stuff the eggs. The eggs are about the size of a large lemon and are very squeaky. You receive 5 eggs with the Alligator, three to fill the alligator's tummy and 2 replacement eggs. Ali is a nice bright green color with bright yellow feet. The colors in the picture are very accurate.I have attached a short video of Zoe pulling out an egg from Ali's tummy and how proud she is once she does it! If you dog likes noisy squeaky toys with which they can annoy their loving and patient parents and toys that challenge them but rewards them with said noisy squeaky toy, then the Kyjen Alligator is for you!

THIS THING ROCKS! SO far they love it and are time by the end of the day....
THIS THING ROCKS! DOGGIE Christmas has come early to our house!!!The short of it:1. They LOVE it and don't get bored (just tired faster from playing with it ALL day!)2. It's durable (thus far)3. It's washable! (I just got it 2 days ago and washed it today- it's like new)4. I would recommend this toy to anyone! I even bought another one for my mom's dogs! The long of it, for those who enjoy reading ramblings of a "happy dog" person:SO far they love it and are tired by the end of the day from playing with it! It's durable (thus far) and comes w/ 5 eggs total. 3 in the toy and 2 replacements also! One seeker gave out but the boys don't seem to care! They just throw them around, chase them and play with them pretty much all day in between naps! This is exactly the "busy toy" that I've been shopping for and I'm so glad I bought this for my boys! I bought it originally for my Jack Russel terrier, chihuahua, Boston Terrier Mix, Miles (he's VERY smart!) But my other boy, Steve who doesn't really know how to play with toys (mostly because he's a street dog - rescue) LOVES this toy too! HALLELUJAH!!!It's BY FAR one of their fave toys thus far! I also bought a similar style toy from Martha Stuart @ PetSmart and both of these toys keep my boys going! They LOVE them! It only took them a short time to figure out how to get the "eggs" / "critters" out...But then we play a little after which I put the "eggs" right back in the toy and have the boys get 'em out again and again...and again! They haven't gotten bored AT ALL!!!! Yippie! They even play tug of war with it too! IF/ when they get "bored" of it I'll start hiding the "eggs" in the house as an alternative to treats. Tons of ideas to do w/ this thing if you're creative! Also, the tag states that it's a great "companion toy" (esp. for traveling) because it retains scent too!I also bought the Kyjen Hide-a-Squirrel for my mom's dogs because I was so impressed with the Kygen toy's durability (thus far). Hope it's just as durable as my Kygen Gator seems to be! :)Great toy! I now have VERY happy (and sleepy!) boys!! Miles and Steve are spoiled boys! They're rescue/ strays and deserve all that I can afford! :)

This is so fun!
I specifically bought the blue fish, because blue is really the only color dogs see brightly. All other colors appear yellow or gray-scale, so the blue is extra fun for my boy. I have a 16 month old Pitbull that weighs 88 pounds. I got him this toy, because he is quite smart, and became bored with most puzzle toys after a very short time. I was also interested because I wouldn't have to keep buying treats with this toy. He absolutely loves it! We spent about five minutes together with it, and I showed him there were three eggs, and where they went into the fish. He understood right away, and has not stopped playing with it for over six hours. It seems new to him each time I put the eggs back in and hand it to him. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer is to make the eggs a different gradient value than the body of the toy. Dogs see less detail than we do, so the slight variation in texture between the two fabrics is not enough to prevent confusion. different gradient of eggs would make the eggs easier for a dog to see, so he/she would know where to grab onto the egg without getting the body in his/her mouth, too. I think I will solve this myself, by buying another egg baby with eggs of a different gradient value, and switch the two. The quality of the toy must be very good, because my dog hasn't torn it apart yet, and he is a very able destruction machine. He is mostly interested in getting the eggs out, rather than destroying it, but with the color confusion, he has pulled mightily on the body of the fish, and it is still just fine. My dog shredded a red Kong toy, so even though he is being more careful with this toy, if it weren't well-made, it would be a gonner. I highly recommend Kyjen Egg Babies, especially if your dog has whipped through other puzzle toys and become bored.

The concept of the toy is great though and kept her thouroughly occupied
If you have anything other than a small breed dog, DO NOT buy this toy. My dog is 45 lbs and within 15 minutes we had an emergency where one of the eggs, slippery with saliva where she had been chewing on it to extract from the pouch, was "swallowed" and lodged in the back of her throat. I have no doubt at all, that if I had not been with her, to take immediate action and dislodge the ball, that this toy would have killed her. I have thrown all the eggs away and replaced them with tennis balls. The concept of the toy is great though and kept her thouroughly occupied. Just be aware of the danger.

Naja
Die Ente an sich, ist schlecht verarbeitet, Nähte lösen sich ziemlich rasch auf. Die Bälle die darin "versteckt" sind, sind perfekt für kleine Hunde.

Good Toy
This is well made. 2 of the eggs are inside him so abit hard to get out but you can leave them out after and use them as squeaky balls. Kyjen make good toys.

Best Plush Dog Toy
My German Shepherd rips apart all plush dog toys, except for the Egg Babies. When she finishes taking out the eggs, she lines all of her Egg Baby toys in front of her, and then sleeps with them. The different animals (dinosaur, duck, fish, platypus, alligator etc.) encourage further enrichment activities, if you ask your dog to retrieve them by unique names.
