I find that if you’re legs are very thin, no matter how small you get them they still fall but I think for a heavier set person the socks would stay up other than that. They were pretty soft. Kept my legs warm, but if it’s really cold, I wouldn’t suggest these socks alone, it’s really for looks

I should’ve returned this item because the feet you could put four of my feet in. Runs extra extra extra large.

Each sock is a different size, while one is a perfect fit the other is a little tight and 2 inches shorter

My foot runs 8-1/2 to 9 in slippers, shoes, and socks. No size choices so I just ordered the white. If you have smaller feet than maybe 8 these would fit fine. Very thick but may st. These socks are great for around the house and up over the knee. Thick Cable knit which enhances the appearance. I ordered another pair in black from another company and those fit perfectly (I reviewed that pair as well). These thigh high socks and tights are worn in Europe all year around. AND in 2025 they are back in fashion. Warm too!!

A lot cheaper than kilt hose and look as good or better than most kilt hose.
