The cable does not work and the company will not respond. Is it possible that this only works with 5th wheels (wiring difference?)and not my trailer? I have a landscape trailer with what appears to be the same 7 wire plug. This looks like a really solid built cable. I bought it because the placement of the connector on my SUV and the length of the cable on my trailer make the original cable pull tight when turning. I bought this before I actually needed it and was excited when I finally got to use it the first time, but it did not work. I set the cable aside and used a different pull vehicle. I remembered it a while back and tried it on a different vehicle, but I have no lights on my trailer when using this cable. Over the last 2 months I contacted the maker twice by email and once by voicemail. They have not responded at all. Their website says it has a 5 year warranty. I have had mine about a year and it is of no use to me. Will Conntek please respond?

I was worried based on negative reviews, but this seems just as heavy duty as OEM despite having no name printed on it. It does the job.

I connect this cord to my truck in the bed. Its then easy to connect to the 5th wheel without getting in the bed of the truck. It also works great to quickly connect the truck to the RV when I just need some power to work on it at the storage place.

Amazing 10 out of 10! I use it every day to haul campers and it goes into the bumper snugly and then into all the 5th wheels I have pulled smoothly. Amazing!! Some of the ones I pull have a small 7 pin cord and it extends it greatly!!

Instead of drilling a hole in my truck bed for the 5th wheel wiring, I just use this extension and plug it into the plug by my back bumper. Works great! All of the wires pass through and the cord itself is quite thick and heavy duty.

I had a normal 5th wheel plug installed at the same time I had the hitch installed. I have added a 5th wheel tool box buy the tailgate. I need to do sometime since the tool box covered the orginal plug. This plug worked get as an extension.

Could not get this extension to properly connect to other trailer plugs no matter how hard we tried. The truck end of the plug seemed too large and we never got it fully connected. Things were going to start breaking if we tried any harder. It simply did not work. Nearly ruined a camping trip as this was the first time using our new towing extension under our Lance camper. Had to rig up a temporary solution at the last minute. I returned this one for a full refund.

You never know what you're going to get sometimes until you get it. Arrived earlier than expected and works like a charm.

I used mine for the rear of my truck to get all the connections to a dry place, so I cut off one end and just used the male portion and cord, other than colours did not jive but was easy to figure out

This is a fantastic rig which I use on my regular trailer when camping.. I can park my truck a few feet away and power the trailer without having to almost connect.Only drawback is that it is very tight so had to sand it to fit by hand
