My son bought me this as a present for our hallway and set it up, although he said it was easy. It doesn’t come with fixings, so he just hung it onto two screws in the wall, it’s very slim.There’s plenty of info to display, we chose the time, local temperature and news and accepted the default to turn off overnight and turn back on in the morning. There are lot of options in the software to choose from including train and traffic information.The voice control is excellent, we can just ask it what the weather is going to be, and the Alexa tells us. We have an amazon Alexa speaker, and this works the same.Having the smart mirror in the hall is surprisingly handy as I can check my hair, time and temperature before I leave the house.Overall, very pleased with this.

Nice idea let down by poor software. Initially had to remove the Kindle and perform a hard reset as it had stopped responding. Then set up the mirror app (the instructions for using the remote didn’t match and took a bit of trial and error to work it out). Also, the app asks for excessive permissions such as unverified camera access and microphone access which, given there’s no audio, photo capability in the app itself seems ‘odd’. Who/what is this required for? Next up is once app was running it didn’t detect calendar entries and alerts and just displayed a blank screen. Tried a few different things to get this to work without any success.Physically, The frame is nice however mirror is thin plexi and is distorted although useable. I bought this mirror as I don’t have the time to make my own and was expecting something more finished for the premium price. Instead I ended up writing my own software to finish it off and replacing the plexi with mirror glass. Poor quality product at a premium price and definitely not for non techy types, quite peaved. Nice idea poorly executed.

Product was delivered on time, however the glass is scratched and the frame is broken. Nothing we can't fix on our own, but really crappy workmanship for the price.
