The media could not be loaded. I recently started adding Benji & Louie’s Green Lipped Mussels Powder to my cat Ophie’s meals, and I’m honestly so happy with how she’s taken to it! When I first opened the jar, it had that strong ocean smell, which caught me off guard but clearly, Ophie was into it.I mix it in with her food along with Benji & Louie’s probiotic, pumpkin cubes, and liver cubes, and she literally runs to her bowl. She’s usually a bit picky, so this reaction is kind of amazing. It feels good knowing I’m adding something healthy to her diet that she actually enjoys. Definitely a win for both of us!

I’m really impressed with Benji & Louie’s Green Lipped Mussel Supplement! My dog is an extremely picky eater, and I was worried he wouldn’t go for this like he does with other supplements, but he ate it without hesitation! I have been reading a lot of good information about the positive benefits of Green Lipped Mussels for Senior dogs and dogs that have the issues that mine struggle with. I wanted to give it a try to see how well they took to it and tolerated it. I began very slowly just adding a tiny bit to their morning meal. They seemed to like the flavor and no problems so each week I slowly increased until I reached the suggested level.It’s very easy to sprinkle on top of their food right before feeding, no matter what type of meal they are getting. It’s very nice consistency, soft and must taste nice. I haven’t seen any noticeable differences as of yet, but often things take time. I much prefer adding Omega3 to their diet in the hopes of helping with mobility and arthritis symptoms than yet more and stronger pain medications.

My cats actually enjoy this green lipped mussel supplements from Benji & Louie’s. They seems to enjoy it but not other brands. Highly recommended. Will purchase again.

He almost died last year, spent weeks hopitalized, went through 2 life saving surgeries, blood transfusions... I spent a lot of money saving his life! But he's worth it for all he does for me! He's healthy now and only on 2 blood pressure meds and RX food.And with our Vet's whole hearted approval he's on this supplement and the Omega's. This supplement may seem like it's expensive, but it's worth it! And my guy is a big boy pushing 200 Lbs, even with his size it's very economical and costs pennies a day. The scoop is very very small and it's dosed by weight. So make sure you have an accurate weight on your dog. I just sprinkle it on his dry RX food and I do mix water in with it all as I have to make sure he gets lots of fluids every day! He'll eat/drink whatever I put in his dish, so I muse that to my advantage LOL for his benefit.When you first start feeding this just use about 1/4 of the dose and gradually increase it. It does have a strong oceany/fishy smell. If you dog isn't used to that it may take some time, eventually their stomach being hungry will win out and they'll eat. You can mix it in wet food too.My big guy is big male rottie. When he came home I knew he/we had a long road to recovery from the surgeries and he was in so much pain he had trouble moving at all, and like many dogs when they're in pain he wanted to eat but just could hardly bring himself to and this was with being on some good potent pain meds too! Not to mention how awful his skin/coat were from it all, all the toxins that were in his body from the liver/kidney failures, the anemia, all the meds... So We had to be very careful with what was ok to give him, and my vet immediately jumped and agreed to this and the omega as a natural means of anti-inflammatory, to help his skin/coat... The change in him within 2 weeks was amazing! Within a week he was off all the pain meds! Within 2 weeks he was moving so much better, easier, more freely. I still had to keep him and my female totally apart and take him out to potty on leash, get urine specimens... but he was no longer laying around shivering/shaking from being in pain! Needless to say our Vet and everyone at Med Vet were amazed at his progress!
