Attractive yet practical, this wire chicken egg collecting basket carries as many as 12 small to medium chicken eggs, or more quail eggs, with no breakage on the bottom layer thanks to the slight flexibility of the wire mesh. Recently re-designed, the newer egg wire basket is stronger and slightly deeper than the older version, easily transporting eggs from coop to counter. Small but holds a dozen
I was the one who didn't read the dimensions to understand that this is a SMALL basket. yes, technically it holds 12 eggs, but there is no room for error when children carry the basket back from the hen house. The handle does not collapse, which was pointed out in the questions. MY fault for not reading the whole description before adding to my cart.

Small but cute
Got this to put washcloths in for my kitchen. It’s smaller than I thought (dimensions ARE in the description). Just didn’t think the cloths would take up so much space but I roll them and it looks great.

Perfect egg collecting basket!
It’s smaller than I expected but it’s still perfect for collecting eggs each morning from 7 hens. There are 14 eggs in the picture. It’s great for collecting and setting on my kitchen counter as decor.

Smaller than expected but very nice
Not sure how this is used for a dozen eggs because it’s a lot smaller than I expected but once I decorated it it came out beautiful for my flower girls. Everything about it was great except expected little bigger for price

Great purchase for the price
The basket was smaller than I was expecting, but easily holds a dozen eggs. An adorable way to hold your fresh eggs. I gave a 4 star review because it bends easily. I dropped the empty basket and the wire bent. I easily bent it back though. Great purchase for the price!
