I was really disappointed in this tape.It does not stick well to either cotton gauze or to skin. When using it to secure the end of a cotton gauze dressing (just sticking the end of the gauze to the gauze beneath it), the tape popped off... before I even had a chance to move my foot! I didn't move my foot, didn't flex my ankle or anything like that, I just stuck down the tape, rubbed it on firmly (as usual), sat up and watched it pop right off. Like watching two magnets repel each other.Okay, so maybe this adhesive won't stick to cotton gauze but maybe it will be useful when I shower (I have a wound I have to keep dry). The tape is 2 inches/5 cm wide, so I used it to seal a plastic bag to the skin on my lower leg. It lasted less than 3 minutes in the shower before it literally popped off as before.I do have sensitive skin but I can't really rate it for use on my skin, since it was only in contact for so little time.All in all, a big waste of money.

I have been struggling with store bought narrow medical tape for weeks. Not only has my skin been sensitive to the adhesive from store bought tape, but because it's narrow, it does not hold well. This 2" tape has made my life so much easier. It sticks much better and it has not irritated my skin as of yet. This wider tape definitely holds much better.

This silk tape is horrible. If you don't use it with bandages, it is probably fine however my skin had a severe reaction to the adhesive causing an extremely painful rash around a recent surgical incision. I have never in my life had a reaction to any adhesive like this. Even if there is a minor chance you could have a skin reaction, I would stay away from purchasing it.

Good product but won't hold up well to moister. I'm using it for a wound that has to be kept open and the moisture is contained with gauze. Just watch the timing and amt of drainage. Removes easily with just a bit of warm water so that is good for the skin. I have gone 24 hours with the tape. It tears pretty easily. I would use it again for my purpose.

My son uses this tape on his face for his oxygen. He is 43 weeks. It doesn’t irritate his skin. Sometimes is a tiny red but we just let it rest for a couple hours and goes away. It’s durable but gentle! I love it. It doesn’t get his baby skin but also keeps his oxygen on. Thank you !

I finally figured out how to make these less sticky. I simply tapped them on my shirt a few times to remove a bit of the stickiness. I had to wear an eye patch for six weeks after surgery and other types of tape were taking a layer of my skin when they were removed. This tape works caused much less wear and tear on my skin.

Some have remarked this tape does not have strong enough adhesive. However this tape doesn't have the problem I've experienced with other manufacturers in which it adheres too strongly and tends to pull off the skin and thus cause bleeding. Yet, in terms of adhering to wound dressings it has marvelous adhesion. So I recommend this tape, particularly if you've experienced other tape causing bleeding when you pull it off.
