Great buy at a great price and works
Waited to write a review after some continued use. Installation for under sink use takes some very creative plumbing , but it can be done. Ive had this in use for a few weeks now. Its performed very well. It self cleans with brushes when you empty the trap using the valve. It cleans fast and clear. It definitely works and blocks a lot of minerals. I out it in line with a standard water filter as well. Water is better than bottled water. It looks great, easy to clean, proven filtration.

Quality Product - Outstanding Customer Support
Great filter design, particularly the rotating filter wipe system and convenient back flush. Above all, outstanding customer support - Andrew addressed my question within in a day and then followed up after a few days with an email to assure to my issue was fully resolved. Highly recommend Waterdrop!

Too small, clogs easily
Works, but stopped spinning and cleaning itself after a month. Clogs weekly and doesn't backflush, have to take apart fully to clean filter otherwise particles get stuck. Leak from purge valve switch on bottom but only when turning it on to drain. Replacing with large Waterdrop version with backwash. Maybe ok for appliances if installed in lead with them alone but I used it as whole home filter.

Great idea but longevity in question.
Installed this filter 4 months ago. The spinning brushes kept it from clogging at first. The unit was easy to disassemble for better cleaning. I started having to disassemble more often, that's when I noticed that the brushes no longer touch the mesh so the spinning brushes are now useless for self cleaning and can't be repositioned. Too bad, I really liked it at first but now looking for a different solution.
