First of all it is NOT like a chalk, it’s more of a clay material, tried a small portion on my daughters hair and I had washed her hair 3 times and there is still orange in it, we also did my husbands hair needless to say he has washed his hair way more than 3 times and it is still orange and grease-like. Nothing like what it said. Color was not bright and it was all over everything, towels and rugs.

I purchased this to have fun during our horse shows. It was soooo popular that I had kids all over the show coming so I could color their horses hair. I probably colored 5 horses manes and tails and still have color left to use at one of the shows next year. And it washes out easily so no parents were freaked about me and their kids coloring the horses. (this was one of the fun shows, not one of our national competitions so it was not against the rules) I did have some trouble with the tip coming off so the chalk kept falling out of the little brush which is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

We had a lot of fun with this for my daughter. Just know it might take a few shampoos to get it out, but if you sleep on your sheets without washing it out it will probably stain. Very cute and easy to use though. Great on light colored hair.

Not a chalk at all. Added the blue in my dark brown hair and after 6 WASHES, it still has not come out of my hair. It left my hair very greasy and clumpy. I do not recommend this for dogs either. I can only imagine how difficult it’s going to be to get out of my dogs WHITE hair.

I used this on myself and my dogs for Halloween. I washed them twice and myself 5 times and we are all still brightly colored. This hair “clay” looks pretty cool but don’t use it if you value your hair or your dogs fur. This company should refund everyone that has had the misfortune of buying this product.
