I am very satisfied with the YoLink 2-Pack X3 Version Temperature Humidity Data Logger. I am finding it to be an excellent solution because it seems to be very reliable, consistent and accurate. The key requirement for me was the ability to sample the temperature and humidity frequently - every 5 or 10 minutes. Most of the other inexpensive ones that I found being offered on Amazon did not meet this requirement (very coarse sampling intervals) or seemed to have accuracy issues. But YoLink's version X3 product has been great - it samples every 5 minutes and is accurate and stable. Another big positive is its long-range connectivity to the hub (tested it for over 100 meters). All of the other products I tested had frustrating wi-fi range issues which made them unusable for my house. The Yolink X3 unit has been great - I installed one unit at the back of my house, and another in the attic - far away from each other, and I found both to successfully connect with the hub and provide consistent data. I especially appreciate the professional-grade data logging capability with access to historical records. With its rugged construction, long-term outdoor use, this unit is a highly dependable and low-maintenance choice for my home monitoring needs.

I bought the YoLink thermometers specifically to monitor my garage fridge and freezer, and they’ve been flawless. The setup was simple enough, scan the QR code, name the device, and it immediately started reporting accurate temps. What really sold me is the range. My garage is detached, with thick walls and plenty of interference, but the YoLink LoRa system doesn’t care. Both sensors report consistently without a single dropout. The app graphs temperature history clearly, so I can see exactly when the compressor cycles or if the freezer door was left open too long. They integrate seamlessly into my home assistant system. I have automations that send push alerts if either appliance drifts above a set temperature, and I even trigger my smart lights to blink red if my freezer rises above -5°F. It’s all been rock solid. Battery life looks fantastic so far, but it has only been 6 months or so.

Been 10 months since starting and I am very pleased. Battery life is great. Seems to be very accurate. Clear displays and looks good to. Only thing I would like to see is real time update of each sensor on the app, not just from the sensor itself as I have 1 in the attic and dot have easy assess. Great product. Would stick to this brand

I have 18 YoLink devices/sensors at my house. I love the system and all the various sensors it supports. Everything is very long range RF that has no problem going through exterior and interior walls and floors. I have one of these in the fridge, the other in the freezer. They work very well. It takes about half an hour the first time you put them in place for the reporting and accuracy to stabilize. You can get temp and humidity readings on the app, and some very handy graphs of how temperature changes over time. You can see low/high/average temperatures and lots of historical data. I'm a data geek - I love knowing all about things. You need the inexpensive hub and just one sensor to get started. Lots of bundled deals are available. Like all YoLink sensors, you can set alerts if things fall outside a predetermined range (of temp and humidity in this case). Alerts can be any combination of app alert, text, and email. You get a certain number of free alerts a month, after which you can buy inexpensive 'alert bundles'. You can name all sensors - I use their actual locations in the house/yard so I can instantly see where the problem is. I have two outside sensors - one on the mailbox, the other on a gate. Works over the Internet, not just local wi-fi. Highly recommended if you need such measurements. All the YoLink sensors I have (all 18 of them) have been reliable and consistent. The water sensors have saved me twice now from potentially expensive water leaks (80 year old plumbing). The app even shows battery levels for every sensor. Just magical.

This has helped with making sure students close the doors of the fridge and the freezer in the culinary arts classroom. They also alert me to power outages and other issues which may affect food safety in our program. We did have problems initiallly with setting it up, but our technology department eventually fixed the issue.
