I am no expert in creating a watering system in our garden. These are so easy to use - they easily snap on and you can use right away! Our garden is surviving this terrible heatwave with this watering system!

These are well made but were VERY difficult to fit with the 1/2” DripDepot mainline. The mainline OD is just slightly too big but a mug of hot water softened the tubing enough to make it all work. These were intended to reduce leakage where we were punching 1/4” barb fittings and it does that very well. Overall it does what we need it to do.A couple areas could be improved, and they are minor. First is the sizing and compatibility with the nice 1/2” mainline from DripDepot. Second is the rubber plug caps, there aren’t enough included and the ones closest to the source are prone to popping off. I’ve lost a few even with a pressure regulator. I’ve solved that by wrapping the caps with a good quality 3M electrical tape with solid UV protection.

I was quite optimistic about these connectors, but they turned out to be a letdown. Despite being labeled as 1/2" irrigation connectors, they don't seem to match the standard 1/2" irrigation tubing commonly found in major stores. The outer ferrel is too narrow for the standard tubes, and the tube itself doesn't fit snugly inside the connector. It's unclear what type of tubing these connectors were designed for, but it's certainly not the standard irrigation tubing.

I needed to expand / redo my irrigation system and these did the trick.
