This quilt is a lot of fun to make and can be pulled together easily from a mix of dark, medium and light fabrics. The quilt on the pattern cover was made with batiks, however you can choose your favorite fabric style so long as you work with a variety of dark and medium prints. Many of the designer's quilts contain more fabrics than the requirements call for; she enjoys throwing in an extra print or two from her stash just to spice things up.
