Used this at a holiday cottage as the garden wasn't dog secure. Held up well all week, it only budged in the ground slightly and not enough to work loose. Took some effort to get in and out, didn't have bar to screw it into the soil so used a broom handle as it's impossible to do by hand. Had 2 dogs on it with 2x 25ft cables, a 22kg doodle and young beadle.You have to watch your ankles if they run past you and you are best to use some bungee leashes on the end of the cables to cushion the abrupt stops, use with a harness not collar. Both dogs got used to it really quickly and didn't get as tangled up as I expected with 2 cables. It let us enjoy the hot tub without worrying they'd get out the fence. Well worth the peace of mind.

Got this for my German shepherd and first impressions are it’s well made, easy to set up and it seems like a good design in that the lead can freely move 360 degrees. Dog seems to like it as well and it gives him a bit more freedom as our garden is not entirely secure yet. I can see myself taking it camping, on holiday etc. Literally fixed in place in seconds and feels securely in place.

Works great on keeping our very excitable 27Kg Vizsla in place on campsites with softer ground, it struggles to break through any kind of compacted mud though.

Very good . Our dog is very strong .We wanted to allow him in the garden of a cottage when we were on holiday. We were worried that he would run off. We used this to tether a long line to him . It worked perfectly.

Really pleased with this purchase, I have 2 30kg Labradors who are so sweet in nature but will run up to anyone for attention, which when you are on a campsite isn't always welcome.This made a world of difference, they both hooked onto this and even if they pulled together it stayed well grounded.I liked that it was super easy to put in the ground but also it barely left a mark when twisted back out!Winner :D

We used this whilst camping to secure our rambunctious Labrador over night to prevent him wandering too far as he's worked out that even with tent flap zipped up he can push under. Worked well he wasn't able to elope without us and it stayed very well in the ground.
