I've used many of the tools so far with no problems. This kit definitely has a lot for the price and even a simple case is a good bonus.From the description I thought perhaps the crimper was the "pass-through" type that auto-clips off ends of wires as it crimps. It isn't, however with practice I'm finding I still like using pass-through connectors with it--just get them through, cut them off manually and pull them back slightly before crimping.The cable tester is simple but very handy--it has already caught a wiring-order mistake I made while crimping my first couple of cables.My only qualm is that the instructions included are printed on a TINY piece of paper--good luck even with a magnifying glass. You can find information on using the various tools online however.

Great Kit at a great price!I used to wire my house with Ethernet CAT 6 cable and it works perfectly.It has everything you need! Just watch a few tutorials online and you’re good to go. Don’t need to hire someone if you could do it yourself.Just beware, it takes a few times to practice so you can get it done correctly, I messed it up around 4-5 times before I learned how to do it right.Once you learn how to do it, it’s pretty fast and simple.Would recommend 10/10

A good deal for the price, it easy to use and test your connection. The quality of the tools included are good enough for the price,the case is made of good fabric. Overall the appearance is very good for the price.

Obviously not professional grade, but if you have a small networking project this is has everything you need for super cheap. Would be perfect if they swapped a couple of keystone jacks for a couple of the rj45s.

Tools are mediocre quality but get the job done in a pinch. Comes with a good assortment of items. Works well as a backup set to keep around the house for quick fixes but would not want to use day to day. The punchdown tool is particularly low quality and difficult to use, so if you need to use that often I would recommend finding a better one. Other tools were fine.

This kit came with everything that was advertised. I am a student, and I ordered this for some Zoom conducted labs. Every time I tried to use the wire strippers I cut myself! To be clear, I don't believe that has anything to do with the equipment. Nicking my fingers is a regular occurrence whenever I'm in the kitchen. Thankfully, the labs, like my meals, have been generally positive. I am not sure how this measures up to the kits a professional in the field looks at, but this certainly met my needs!

This kit will work do terminate a few things around the house but not for professional use. The punch down tool is a little tricky to figure out and the tester takes a 9volt which I wasn’t expecting. But the crimper works great.

This kit is a very good starter kit. If you find yourself using it a lot you may find it lacking. I feel there is a bit of redundancy in the tools included, for example the gray stripping tool works great, so I don’t feel the black one is necessary. It would be awesome if the cable tester was also a line finder. A ratcheting screwdriver with interchangeable heads would be helpful instead of the two screwdrivers included. I appreciate that there is space in the kit for extra tools that I need to take to various locations. This kit works great if you’re just running some lines in your home or small office but if you will be doing any more than that I would splurge on a higher quality kit.

Worked well for me. Had come with RJ45 heads as well. Only thing they might want to add in is some boots to compliment but that is a nice to have and not necessary. The tester works great and saved me because I crosswired some old keystones.

Good toolkit. However the cable tester is a tad bit defective and doesn't work 100% of the time. Also, The flashing lights are really hard to read. But I didn't buy it for the tester hence 4 stars. Everything else has been pretty good so far.

This has everything needed to repair network cables. Now I just have to perfect the art of applying new connectors.If you are a novice like me you'll need to buy extra RJ45 connectors cause you will go through the 10 provided in the kit really quickly.
