I have tried a couple of other patches for the pain in my left shoulder/back these seem to work the best they are easy to apply and can be cut if needed. The price is better too.

These patches work great, and are the cheapest price I have found.

They tend to move around if you don't place them snug.A bit squishy.No odor

Sometimes you don't know that you need something, until you give it a try! That is absolutely the case with these lidocaine patches. Sometimes I sleep at a bad angle or twist my neck too much overnight and wake up with incredible neck pain, shoulder pain, and or back pain. These patches help alleviate the discomfort and pain and they are not incredibly strong smelling, which I appreciate. I have my wife help apply them to my back or shoulders, but its easy to self apply to the neck or other parts of the body. I would consider these safe to use for short term or occasionally. As with most things, sometimes too much can be a bad thing so if you're having to rely on these to often, you may have a deeper issue at hand and should consult your physician for more solutions. I don't know what the shelf life on these are, but I'd say get the double pack, save a bit of money and be set for good! Cheers!

I'm one of those weekend warrior fitness people who overdoes it on the weekends only to spend my work week with regret.I left myself with a really sore lower back last weekend, but remembered I had these in the cupboard. I put one across the center, but kind of wish I'd put one on each side instead.They are all individually packaged. They don't have a tear-to-open tab, so scissors were needed to open them. Once open, you just stretch the patch to release the backing paper at the center and apply. It was sticky enough to hold onto my skin, but didn't grab or pinch. It did stay on all day even under pants, so I guess I'd say they're sticky enough without being too sticky.They took a few minutes to work but did help. Within minutes the knots were unfurling and the pain was a lot better. By the end of the day I'd forgotten I'd even put it on. You can definitely smell the menthol when you open it, and you feel it on your skin, but I don't think the smell was to overpowering for an office setting.I really like having topical options instead of having to take medicines, so this was a win for me.

They are not near as sticky as other brands I have tried. The edges come loose and then the pad doesn’t stay in place. I think the addition of the menthol is helpful, but they just don’t stay put. I’ve used other brands where it was borderline difficult to remove them, but I’d rather have that that these. I end up removing them early because they have rolled up around the edges.

These seem to work pretty good for my chronic hip pain. They are a nice large size which I need. As long as my skin is clean, dry and does not have any lotions applied; these patches do stick for at least 8-10 hours. I do like how they come packaged in individual packs that need to be cut with scissors first to remove the patch. These patches are very flexible and feel like a soft cotton like material. These are very easy to apply. Again, I always make sure that my skin is very clean and dry before applying these so that they are sure to stay in place.The price is very comparable to similar products on the market. I will purchase these again.

I ordered these for my first aid kit. Now that I'm older it is helpful to have supplies on hand for the more frequent aches and pains that come with age. The patches are individual packaged and sealed. I tried one last night even though I wasn't experiencing any pain. The patch was easy to apply and adhered to my skin with no problems. The material is very soft on the skin. After a few minutes I began to feel the cooling and numbing effect. When I woke during the night those sensations were still evident. By morning they were gone as expected. The patches stayed put until removed. No residue was left on my skin. This is a good addition to my first aid supplies.
