At first, I wasn't sure about this product but I decided to give it a try. These bamboo drinking straws are great! I love that they come with a linen pouch so I can take them with me when I go out. I also like the cleaning brush included, which is useful for cleaning the straws from inside.Just note that these are relatively small in diameter and not really suitable for thick smoothies.Other than that I’m very very satisfied with these straws. Saving so much plastic, yeey! :)

Straws came right on time, and in completely recyclable packaging!! I didn’t expect this from amazon but it was all cardboard no plastic at all. The straws come in a little box which is biodegradable/ recyclable, and have a pouch to store them in. They come with a little squeegee to clean them. Definitely run water through them and blow through them before you use, to ensure there’s no little bamboo particles that come off in your drink. The inside isn’t smooth like the outside is. I haven’t had any issues tho. My mom accidentally threw one of themse out while doing dishes which was disappointing, but! You don’t have to feel guilty because they’re biodegradable. This is a really neat product. I didn’t notice any taste change to the drinks also, even though the straws do have a bamboo smell.

I recently decided to switch to hard straws. I really liked these ones because they are bamboo! There was several in the package. Came with a small brush to clean them, thankfully! I was so worried about how to clean them. lol. It also cam with a nice bag as shown in the picture where you can store the straws. Reasonably priced items. I really like this company! Can’t wait to check out their site and order more stuff!

I’m not one to usually write reviews but I think this product deserves it. First, it arrived in absolutely NO PLASTIC, which is a huge plus for me as an aspiring zero-waster. Second, I found that these are some of the better bamboo straws I have tried, nice and smooth on the outside and more uniform than most (FYI, I’ve tried all reusable straw types and personally prefer bamboo over all others). And lastly, the company personally sent me multiple emails throughout the order...making sure I received the product, a care guide for the straws, a free zero waste guide...all positive things that work towards a great goal of reducing waste. 10/10!!!

You do need to clean these before use to clear some of the loose bamboo particles inside the straw. They are a little difficult to clean as some straws are slightly thinner than others but I only plan on using these for water so it shouldn't be too big of an issue for me. I was concerned about a woody taste and while you can taste the bamboo a little bit, I feel like it adds a very clean taste to the water that I enjoy. The bag it comes with easy fits all 10 straws and has room for more. The cleaning stick seems pretty decent like it will last a while.

The bamboo straws are not uniform in size, but all work well for your drinking needs. The cleaner brush works well but for some of the straws with smaller diameters you may need to use pliers to pull the brush out. I was surprised to read that they recommend not leaving the straw in the liquid when not actually using it, or using a specific straw for a specific beverage. But they work well.

I love these straws. I make smoothies every morning and sometimes take mine to the car on the way to work and it helps to have a straw so I don't spill. I was feeling so guilty using all the plastic straws but now all is well. You do need to clean them out well before you use them as they are dusty inside. You also have to use the brush from both ends as it doesn't go all the way down from one end. But that is not a problem you just need to do it. It is very easy to rinse them out. It is a little unusual the first time you use them but I'm glad I bought them and I bought several sets for Christmas gifts.

I really like the fact that they are made with bamboo and are eco friendly. The price is really great for the quantity you get, and it comes with a cleaning brush and a linen drawstring bag to store them in. However, make sure that you give them a really good scrub on the inside with the brush. The outside is polished and smooth but the inside has a lot of wood particles and need to be cleaned out. I recommend washing the insides with the given brush 2-3 times with soap and water then let air dry. Otherwise you’ll be drinking bamboo as well. Make sure to have a towel or something on hand to help with pulling the brush out, as the sizes of the inside of the straws are not consistent and the brush can get stuck. That being said, although it’s a bit more work, I do not regret my purchase.
