This camera amazes me on a daily basis, no joke. I wanted a 360 camera for years but couldn't justify the price for the offerings at the time. A friend of mine has the X3 and his footage was amazing. When I compared the two, I just knew the X4 was the perfect fit for me. I bought this primarily for travel videos (making things a little more creative). But I also plan to put it on my mountain bike. I already had it on a selfie stick and had it positioned out my driver's side window (not too far, just above my mirror) and the footage was clear as can be and very smooth. I bought a neck mount to test how walking around with the camera would be. Neck mount was great, and the footage was unbelievably smooth considering I was walking on a hilly/bumpy lawn. It didn't have that up and down motion you see with other cameras while walking. The stabilization blew me away. I have also used it for driving by placing it on different mounts in my front windshield. That has also been pretty great. My only issue with the camera, and I think this is something I just personally need to revisit is the exposure in the sky while driving has been overexposed in the daylight every single time. The whole sky is blown out. I am using the premium lens guards, but I was hoping the auto exposure would handle this better. Like I said, that might just be a setting I need to understand better. Battery life has also been pretty great. I do plan on buying numerous batteries due to traveling and not having access to charge up as often as I would hope. It also does have a voice recognition thing which I have used numerous times. That way I don't have to push the record button. I like that feature a lot. I have been pretty impressed with not just the camera but the accessories I have bought have all been incredibly sturdy and well constructed. I will say that the included case does not fit ALL selfie sticks, only the smallest one I believe fit the carrying case. It also wouldn't fit the camera if you have the quick release mount on it. I wish there was a little more leeway with space. I probably will just order an off market case/bag for it. Not sure what that is actually called, but the gray case thing. The app for 360 is pretty great too.... but it does not offer all the same features that the desktop application does. I could not find direction lock in the app, but it is on the desktop one. Anyways, this camera is truly a game changer and has millions of possibilities for editing/creating.

The Inst360 camera has been fun to use. The camera’s image stabilization impressed me most. I attached the camera to my mobility scooter and went for a “walk” around the neighborhood. I was worried about the video recording as I saw the camera swaying atop the extended pole mount while I went over sidewalk joints. I was extremely pleased to see that the resulting video was smooth as butter. What can be overwhelming is the amount of accessories that can be purchased to mount and use the camera, but that’s also a good thing since there’s so many use applications. I would like to see a car headrest mount made so I can have the camera directly above the center of my mobility scooter. The camera feels very solid in-hand and well-built. The phone app works well. The Insta360 GPS watch-like accessory is not necessary but does offer solid GPS data to the camera and frees up your phone from having to do that job. The customizable GPS data overlays on the video are really cool to view speed and other stats while the video plays. I’m still experimenting with Google Street View uploads and my suggestion is to set the appropriate time zone to match what time the GPS satellites overhead are using so there won’t be time conflicts that may result in an upload error to Street View. Seeing your imagery on Google Street View is fun and it’s great being able to contribute data of parks, trails, parking lots, and streets that may have no Street View data or no recent data. The Insta360 team are great in responding and assisting with issues and that is reassuring for such a big investment. Lastly, the battery life compared to the size of the camera is great.

I was hesitant about this camera at first, but after using it on our vacation, we absolutely loved it. It’s easy to use and captured all the shots we needed. We tested it in both snowy and warm conditions, and it performed well. Plus, connecting it to a phone is effortless even if youve already started recording, you can still connect to it without any hassle.

Bought the X4 360 to create 3D virtual tours, after trying to use 360-pano-stitch apps on my excellent new Samsung phone... the apps I was using did an 85% good job with stitching but I really wanted a 100% great option.The Good:- Flawless 360 Photos (stitching-wise)- Easy to use- Good battery life- Nice color- Disappearing selfie stick.. neat.. it works!The Less-good:- App "live view" periodically is glitchy and not refreshing well.. captured image is fine though- Grain shows in the image when used indoors if not perfectly bright lighting. I attribute this to the 1/2" sensor size instead of larger 1" ... this kinda stinks :(- When creating my tour, I used the official selfie-stick to hold the camera (and app to trigger), but the small tripod screwed into the base still showed (would love for it to magically make that disappear too if possible). Still amazing the selfie-stick vanishes :-)

this camera is absolutely amazing worth every penny and the HDR is outstanding and will load to Facebook or Instagram in high definition the storage battery life and video quality our second to none. this is the best action camera you can get
