Replaced my saniflo pump

I put a small bathroom in an expanded laundry area, but the service line was only 2". There was no simple way to add the 3" pipe required for a standard toilet or connect it to the 1950's era cast iron waste stack leading to the city system. I had put a different brand unit in a basement about 4 years earlier. The set up was simple and this pump is very powerful compared to the previous unit we used. One complaint: the inserts meant to seal inlets for sink and shower (which we didn't need) leaked like a sieve. After many attempts to remedy the problem, and never being able to get through to customer service, I finally capped them with inch and a half rubber caps with clamps. Not very aesthetically pleasing but effective.

I normally do not leave reviews on products but this unit is so bad I felt compelled to. It was a very cheap replacement for an existing unit I had (Saniflo) that lasted 15 years. This pump lasted a couple of months with the same use. Saniflo has a three year warranty and I ended up replacing it with a Saniflo so I just wasted HUNDREDS trying to do a cheap replacement. Not worth it! Get Saniflo!

My worst experience on Amazon so far. Item stopped working after 3 days!! Water leaked all over my house causing a lot of damage. DO NOT BUY!!
