Trek Support’s Work Gel Insole for Women is designed for hard working feet - feet that need to support 12 straight hours of standing. Whether you are a nurse, a teacher, a pediatrician or a mom, if you work on your feet, we’ve got you covered. The top layer of this insole is made of lightweight, shock absorbing, polyurethane foam. Our team of foot experts added a honeycomb gel layer to cushion against hard surfaces and a medium-firm arch to provide added support. Finally, we add small touches like a velvety soft top cloth and ventilation holes to keep your feet cool and dry. Designed to be worn in closed-toe work shoes, boots and sneakers, your feet and legs will feel less fatigue and you’ll feel more comfortable. Directions: This insole is meant to replace your shoe’s existing insole. In most shoes, the original insoles are removable. Start by removing your shoe’s original insole. Insert insoles into shoe to test for fit. If needed, trim using guide on underside of insole. TIP: Initially trim to one size larger than you shoe size. Place insole in shoe. Replace after six months for best comfort and support.

Only worn once
I bought these to replace my work shoes insoles. I got new slip resistant work shoes but the insoles and them made my right foot hurt a lot and now I have a bump due to the uneven distribution of weight. I got these with the hope that they are able to help me stand during an 8 hour shift at work. My feet feel so much better already. I did notice however, they were in men's sizes even though it said women's. I wear a size 10 but I had to cut it down to a size 8 in men's. I also don't mind writing an updated review after I worn this for a while because of the bump on my right foot. I was thinking of getting my foot checked out due to my old insoles but if these insoles help then I'll definitely let you guys know!

Double-Check your Cut Level - Starts on the Thick Side
I do a LOT of walking and over the years I've had to try a number of different insole options to keep my feet from having problems. I do my best to buy solid-quality shoes to start with, but as you can see in my photo, even good quality soles flatten down after a while. So as a replacement sole I gave a try to this Trek Support insole.First, MEASURE AND RE-MEASURE your fit. DO NOT TRUST the lines on the sole. That's true for any sole you buy. Make sure the sole size you cut to is just right for you and your shoe. Remember that you can always trim more. Once you cut something too small, it's not easily able to be fixed.Next, keep in mind that by their nature a sole is going to START OUT THICK. The sole manufacturers expect the sole to be flattened out over time by your foot and weight. So at least in the beginning, lace or seal up your shoe loosely. Give your body time to settle into the new sole. I.e. don't buy a sole and then go on a week-long 15-mile-a-day hiking schedule. Wear it in.I found with these that not only did I have to trim the edges to fit but I also had to shave off some of the plastic on the inside heel area of both feet. That is, the sole has a "bump area" in the inner left and inner right. You can see that in the photos where I compare the new soles to my existing Rockport (brown) soles. The Trek soles have a substantial bump. Maybe that's necessary for some shoes, but it just created a ridge in my shoes. Shaving that down a bit helped a lot.I can see this sole being a problem if someone has a really tight-fitting shoe where there was barely enough room for the existing sole plus the foot. There wouldn't be enough room to wedge this sole into place. Make sure you have at least a little vertical space to work with, to allow for the sole's natural compression process.I'll also note that the package arrived to me already "half open". You can see that in the initial picture. Not a huge issue, but it does look a bit unprofessional.Ask with any questions!

Really thick
These are too thick to wear in most casual shoes (read: converse/other low top shoes) without the heel being outside of the heel cup. I also tried using them to replace some worn out insoles in my work shoes and they required a lot of cutting to fit (Asic gel 5) and were workable but still pretty tall. I wouldn't recommend them, but they are fairly comfortable to stand on outside of the shoes, so I might try putting them in my hiking boots or something when those insoles wear out, though they may be too cut up at this point.

Extreme comfort
Using Trek Support Work Gel insoles makes me feel like I'm walking on a cloud! I have minimal pain in my knees and lower back, I will definitely get more when I need them.

Not the best but definitely worth the price
They're not the best insoles I've ever had but for 10 bucks they're more than worth it!I'm on my feet for 11-12 hour shifts so I wear out insoles very quickly. I wasnt ready to commit to another expensive pair so I thought I'd try a cheap set and make do for a few more weeks. While these dont blow me away, my feet dont hurt at the end of the day and that's impressive enough for me.

These were terrible
They made my feet hurt more instead of less . There was no comfort when wearing these shoes and after a couple of days I just threw them away. I had to cut them to fit in my shoe so I didn’t bother trying to return them .

Floppy, but useful enough
These definitely provided some "bounce" for a pair of shoes with an uncomfortable footbed - if you are looking for a firmer insole with actual support, these are not for you.

The markings for shoe size are incorrect.
Double check before cutting to size.
