Anyone who reads my reviews knows I love shifter novels. This one is no exception there is so much going on you have an Alpha, Aidan, who doesn't trust humans, a human, Olivia, who doesn't trust shifters but who is hired to defend one on a murder charge for which he is innocent. Olivia just happens to be Aidan's mate in a world where there is so much prejudice. The book is really well written and has lots of twist and turns. Why was a girl murdered in the first place. Why was an innocent shifter framed for the crime?All this is going on while Aidan and Olivia explore their relationship. The book is hot and steamy and the chemistry between them is really well written.I read an ARC of this book and after reading it voluntarily decided to write a review. All opinions stated are my own.

Fabulous read with great characters. This kept me turning the pages until I had finished.The main characters Olivia and Aiden are put together to help a member of his pack after he is accused of murder. Olivia is the human lawyer and shifter Aiden the alpha of the pack.Feelings sizzle on both sides and circumstances bring them closer together despite shifters not liking humans.

I don't understand all the great reviews for this book unfortunately, I just couldn't get into it.A young, new attorney Olivia aims to defend a shifter from murder and she goes to the alpha, Aiden Channings for help.I felt the writing was immature, the characters weak and any chemistry none existent.Unfair of me really, as I failed to read the whole book, but 1*.

i really enjoyed reading this story. i liked the prejudices between humans and shifters, it made for an interesting read. There were lots of twists and turns that kept me captivated. Will recommend to anyone who likes shifters

I gave this rating because it had everything you want. A murder mystery sexy shifter and a strong woman. Romance with some heat. Its worth the stars and i would recommend it.

Oliva and Aidan's story will make you want to read more about Madisyn Ashmore's Alpha shifters. I enjoyed this book and will definitely be looking out for more of Madisyn's work
