THE DIRTY DOZEN is another great Commando book compilation of which I've bought several recently, no problem there.....however I was very disappointed to discover that this very same book has also been reprinted by a different publisher as THE BEST 12 COMMANDO BOOKS EVER. Nowhere in the product description or inside either book (and I have checked) does it say that they were previously published under a different name. The introduction and the 12 stories are all exactly the same (see photos) the only difference being the cover and the title. I now have 12 Commando books (x2) that have cost me double the price. DON'T BUY THE SAME BOOK TWICE like I did folks.

I am a collector of commando books and this item was exactly what I wanted . It was in excellent condition and very fast delivery would use the seller anytime as I have bought several items of similar products since I would highly recommend the the seller to anybody.

Says as new in the advert...it came with the front cover corners upturned and an actual stain on the inside...avoid

Since I was young, I enjoyed the old Commando stories my Dad and uncles collected. When you live in the Caribbean and no reliable comic store or book store, you grasp what is available. A mixture of commando comics were in a box and once I read them, I was hooked. Even when I joined the Army I was still collecting these books. Now when I am much older, father of four and married 15 years, I still enjoy the commando stories. This one doesn't collect a lot of the ones I like, but what it does have are still favorites. My children while not sharing the same interest in the book do appreciate my ad-hoc voice overs. Having grown up in a commonwealth nation and having relatives who served during the Second World War, I have a lot to pull from.

This was not a good purchase. The cover ofthe book was upside down and round the wrong way. There were also dirty chocolate marks throughout the book

Nice collection. Takes you back to childhood days, when reading a Commando comic from the library was the preferred pastime. A couple of the stories in the collection would not qualify as the "best ever".

I got damaged book and pages were also missing
