Used too much? Scrub with a lemon and and a wet towel...
Well it definitely works.I applied it for about 15 mins to my hands as a first test site and then washed and scrubbed it off as I didn't want to let it dry and sit on for hours like the instructions recommend. I'm Caucasian and fairly light skinned (although just tanned enough for vitiligo patches to be noticeable) and so did not want to look daft.I thought I'd got it all off so imagine my surprise the next morning when I woke up with hands like an elderly Italian farmer.Evidently the active ingredients had been absorbed and although I washed the product off, it did a good job of imitating pigmentation. Unfortunately for me just too darkly as I know now that I'd used too much product for my skin tone. For anyone making the same mistake, it comes off in a few minutes if you rub it with a fresh lemon and then scrub hard with a wet wash cloth to physically remove that layer of dermis.Good product, it works, just be careful if you are light skinned, if you leave it on for 10+ minutes and then wash it off, you won't really have washed it off! Use a very small amount and spread it wide across the depigmented area, spreading very thinly. Although it will look like you haven't used anywhere near enough, the active ingredient DHA is getting absorbed and 8 hours later the area will definitely be coloured.*** update ***I've taken to experimenting with the length of time I leave it on.I recommend for people with light skin to apply it thinly, leave it for 2 minutes exactly, and then totally remove by rubbing hard with wet wipes. When you wake up the next morning it will have pigmented a little. Progressively increase the application time (2:30, 3:00, 3:30, 4:00 minutes etc) until the desired pigmentation level is reached. More than 5 minutes I would suggest for ethnically white people would be far too long unless you are very tanned. Do not leave it to dry on unless you are very dark skinned! And of course I strongly recommend you first begin to experiment with the product on subtle areas. A very common pattern of vitiligo is on the hands, wrists, and around the eyes, symmetrically. Paint the undersides of your wrists (if depigmented; fingers are commonly affected too) before you go anywhere near putting this stuff on your face as otherwise if and when you leave it on for too long you will not want to go out in public.

bad coour match
Fast next day delivery. Handy size tube and applicator (stick with shaped, pointed foam end). Product itself is a gel with a non-runny but easily spreadable viscosity. You need to be very careful to only make contact with the depigmented skin; application to already pigmented skin will lead to hyperpigmentation! The problem with the product is that the colour acheived does not match my skin tone at all, going more orange than pink/brown. It looks remarkably like henna but MUCH more expensive. Henna would for some, be a better alternative. I would not buy any more and am considering contacting the seller for a refund.

This is a temporary dye rather than make up
I've suffered from Vitiligo for the past 5 years and tried several make-up concealer options before settling on this option. The advantage this product has over make-up is that you don't live with the inconvenience of having to check and re-apply make-up several times a day which is not easy for a man! However, as other contributors have stated it does get darker throughout the day so use very sparingly. Less is more!!My recommendation is to barely squeeze any out onto a dish and then use a make-up triangle sponge to spread (drag) a pin-prick amount evenly across the white patches of the face under a natural light source. Leave for 3-5 minutes and if it is slightly lighter than your normal skin colour then the job is done. If it is too dark (brownish or reddish!) dampen with a wet wipe until the lighter colour is achieved. Remember to wash off every night (see below). For some reason, it is much easier to achieve a satisfactory result on the face rather than the hands but it does take some time to master. I suspect that this product is only applicable to those who have white european skin. That said, this product is unlikely to perfectly blend with your normal skin colour, however, if it is applied right it will camouflage the patches enough for most people not to notice - particularly if they are standing more than 3-4 foot away.Thankfully my vitiligo seems to have halted and has partially receded over the past weeks. This could have something to do with a Tea Tree skin wash I have been using daily for the past 6 months from Australia which is also available from Amazon. I leave this skin wash on for 3 minutes before washing off (ideally in the bath) and often repeat for the face whilst having a wet shave.Good luck.

Works very well
Works great. Probably helps if you have slightly tanned skin anyway. Don't seem to have to worry about cleaning the edges so much, it's not a disaster if you don't. Use sparingly at first and give it another go if needs me. I use it on my face and it's just fine.

rubbish
Absolute rubbish!!Good idea but it just ends up staining skin you don't want staining...and it won't feather out if your trying a small area...when it all settles the colour don't match surrounding skin... Waste of money...better off with make up!!

Covers white patches
So far so good, It certainly covers white patches. Not sure how long before it fades, experimentation is required to get it just right.

Good Product
Covers very good, good texture so it does not run when you apply. For light skin one coat is already fine.

Not very good for brown/dark brown skin tones.
Looks very reddy/orange against my dark brown skin. Not advisable if your are brown as the colour is a complete mismatch. It needs more yellow, brown tone with a hint of orange.
