BUY THIS BOARD!
I've been on many hard/fiberglass boards and this board SURPASSES any of my hard board experiences! It is incredibly smooth and stable in the water...it does not slap the water like hard boards. The board is very responsive and turns on a dime. The foot pad grips so well and your feet WILL NOT slide at all on this pad. The white surface keeps your feet cool and won't attract heat from the sun which was important to me as I will be using this board seven months a year in Florida. The dual action pump is EXTREMELY EASY to use and when you get higher up in the psi's there is a devise on the pump to allow you to convert to a single action pump...a very nice feature. I'm 62 yrs old, tall, but petite and am able to inflate to the recommended 15 psi's. It takes me about 10 minutes to inflate, but the really GREAT NEWS IS that I have been able to keep the board inflated for SIX DAYS no problem without having to put more air in. This board is extremely rugged...I have no concern about inadvertently bumping into a dock or jetty...this company is using the latest and greatest technology and materials on their boards that are available on the market today. Also, people CANNOT BELIEVE this isn't a hard board....in the water it looks and feels just like a hard board! And deflating this board is a BREEZE....within ONE MINUTE I'm able to not only deflate my board, but also roll it up and stow away in its backpack! The paddle is incredible...I was so concerned about three sections with these paddles and it is rock solid! You'll think your using a single shaft paddle, really! Lastly, prior to my purchase I had many questions for the seller...i was responded to immediately and with extensive information (more than I even asked for). The seller provided pictures to explain information about possibly adding more D-rings and was extremely communicative. I've purchased TWO THURSO BOARDS and my husband and I could not be happier. We also have friends that were so impressed with this board that they also bought TWO!!

very nice!
Impressed by the board for its build and look. Been looking for an upgrade for my old iSUP as it’s several years old. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning as there were not many reviews on this, but I just decided to give it a try. Unpacked it and took it to the water, the board is easy to inflate. Absolutely sturdy and very stable while on the water, thanks to the extra thickness of the board. I would say this is a great board for a beginner/intermediate paddler. One thing I have to say is that there is no instruction or whatever in the package. This is not a problem as I’ve owned one before and I know how to inflate the board with the pump. Wish they could include a manual to help people set up.

BEST BOARD...BEST SERVICE
I had the Board for 3 months already and used around 15 times. it's stable, looks great and all the accessories included are really good quality (the Paddle is actually amazing, best material and super light).the best part about this is not the product itself but the company behind it, Thurso Surf.i leave the bag with the board in my car. 2 weeks ago i loaded something, hit the bag and broke a small plastic piece that helps lock the fin (if you don't do it on purpose there is no way you can break it). i thought i will need a new board but still send them an email on a tuesday at 9pm. 5 minutes later they replied asking me my order number. a week later i asked them if there was anything i could do or anything i should buy and their response was:..."Don't worry we have sent out a package of clips last week. Please wait for a few days for it to arrive"....this is what makes a good product even better

Amazing company the best complete package out there, board had some warp/twist
First the good,Thurso Surf is one of the best vendors I have worked with, they will respond to questions right away and do everything to make sure you are happy with your purchase. The package they provide is one of the best that I have seen after weeks of searching around and doing research.-The super light carbon fiber shaft paddle feels great and with the additional pin at the bottom, no longer has the issue of losing the lower piece.-The cooler bag is of excellent quality and has plenty of room for drinks, snacks, and anything else you want to bring along on the trip. There are different compartments and pockets on the inside and outside of the bag. The only thing I wish it had was a carrying handle which would make it easier to carry when not attached to the board.-The pump feels heavy duty and works great in single and dual action modes to inflate and deflate the board.-You also get a nice coiled leash, and a waterproof cellphone holder.-The removable fins are made from heavy duty plastic and feel very solid-the deck pad is very grippy, it never felt slipperyNow the only issue I had with the whole thing was that the board I received has a twist/warping to it, it seemed to have gotten worse after I inflated the board to 15PSI and used it on the water. When laid on a flat surface, the left fin was on the ground but the right one was about 1.5" off the ground. I heard this is a common issue with longer boards (I had the 11' model, it might not be a problem on the 10.6' ) . Thurso Surf sent me a replacement board right away, but unfortunately that one had the same problem. Perhaps I may be a tad too picky, but I didn't want to spend $650 on a defective product so I ended up returning the board. Most people probably won't even notice the warping.I definitely want to revisit Thurso Surf again in the future, hopefully their QA process will have improved by then. I would have given a lower rating if it wasn't for their excellent customer service.

Buy this board!
This package is an absolute steal. Let me tell you why. In addition to the board being gorgeous, it rides like a dream. I've ridden my fair share of iSUPs and this one is easily the most stable ride I've had. But that's not why this is a steal - it's the accessories. The paddle is carbon fibre, so it weighs absolutely nothing, and looks awesome. Add in the pump, leash and the deck bag (!) you're starting to get the whole picture of why this is an amazing deal. Almost too good, right? Like, how good can this board be if you get all of this great stuff and it still costs the same as some of the other kits out there? Well, it is that good. Better, really. If you're looking for an iSUP, this is the one to get. I did a bunch of research, read a boatload of reviews, and could not be happier with my choice!

Good quality product and good accesories
NEW REVIEWI am editing my review due to exceptional customer service from Thurso. When I posted the old review, they immediately contacted me to let me know they had updated the paddle design to resolve the issue I described in my old review. They sent me an updated version at no cost to me. As I said in the previous review, the board itself is great, and now that the paddle is improved I have changed the review to five stars.OLD REVIEWThe board is great, but the paddle fell apart. Its glued improperly and I almost lost the bottom part of it. Luckily I was close to shore. I spent more on this due to the fact that the accessories sounded better than other boards, but it wasn't worth the extra money.

Good SUP, awesome add-ons but not a fan of the EVA pad
The SUP arrived extremely fast thanks to amazon (ordered on Wednesday and was delivered Thursday afternoon). It is a good SUP, very rigid it doesn't look like an inflatable once properly inflated. It is stable, although not as stable as a solid board and the feeling on small waves is a bit different. Since the bottom and sides are white, it gets scratched and marked very easily. However, it doesn't seem to make the board less durable, just not as nice looking. The one thing I don't like about this board is the EVA pad. Why did they decide to do an EVA pad with lines of different height?? It helps with the grip, sure, but it is a lot harder on your feet and if you are going to spend any time paddling on your knees you will need to change position often as the lines dig into your legs and you end up with the lines imprinted on your legs.As for the pump, it is a bit of a workout to inflate it properly but I managed to inflate it to 15 psi in about 5-10 minutes and I am a small woman, not that strong...so if I can do it, you can. However, if you need to inflate/ deflate it every time you will use your board, you might want to consider getting an electrical pump.A good purchase also would be straps to carry the board if you will carry it inflated. I have a 5 minutes walk from my house to the river and it is awkward to carry inflated with the handle provided. The handle digs into your fingers and cuts circulation. It is a massive board so not that easy to carry even if it's not that heavy. The add-ons are awesome. I like the leash, the bag and the cooler that came with it. The paddle seems sturdy and is very lightweight since it is a carbon paddle. It is nice that they now include 3 fins, I paddle in shallow waters sometimes and I can remove the bigger fin, keeping only the side ones so it doesn't get scratched on rocks (you loose a lot of speed but make sharper turns).

Great all around board with a reliable and slick pump!
This is a top quality board for sure! Thurso company is professional in their delivery, packaging, and product. It arrived as expected, everything was packaged very well so there wasn’t chances of nicks and scratches, and the product feels sturdy from the get go.Initially I opened in my living room, laid it all out and pumped it up. I timed myself from start to finish and it took me 5 min. The pump was slick, and very efficient. (I’ve used my sisters pump for their jimmy Sykes board from Costco and it sucks).I’ve taken it out 4 times so far and love it! The easy removable and sturdy fins are a breeze to put on and off, the handles on the side and ends are great for pulling into shore, but also my kids love to lay on the front and hold the handle while I paddle. The bungee cords at either end to hold down stuff is perfect. I can carry my water bottle and whatever my kids want me to hold in there. The great holder on the side for the paddle is a great feature and I’ve not seen it on other models. The roller bag/ backpack bag that the board fits in is great! However in the backpack mode it’s designed for a man or a women with a very long torso. I’m 5’8” and it fits me funny. So if you’re a smaller women I wouldn’t suggest the backpack mode, but it rolls well.I also bought this model because it has a weight capacity of 300lbs, the other model goes to 330 but that was sold out in Canada when I purchased it. But the turquoise colour looks great and I can get myself and my 4 yr old and 6 yr old on the board at the same time.If you’re looking for a fast board this isn’t for you as it’s pretty wide at the nose and I wouldn’t say you can get any exceptional speed, but if you’re into the sport of speed you probably aren’t looking at this type of board in the first place.Overall I would highly recommend this board.

Awesome board! Best way to enjoy the water!
I did a lot of research before I bought this board – it’s been 2 years now - and I have no regrets. It’s a great deal with not just the board (which looks amazing), but also a great paddle, pump, carry bag, and cooler bag (that I use all the time on trips). The board is very sturdy and is relatively easy to inflate. The 1st year, I inflated and deflated it after every use. However, inflating it is still a bit of a workout – so this year I’ve left it inflated all year round and just throw it on the roof rack of my vehicle when I want to go out. I’ve had no problems at all travelling at speeds up to 80 km/hr. (I haven’t tried faster). The board is still in perfect condition. The board is very stable, and easy to also carry a small passenger. I bring my 4yr-old daughter on it all the time. Alternatively, I've also switched it up by tying an inflatable rubber dingy to back of board and pulling her around the lake without any issues. So fun for the whole family! My only single complaint is about the paddle. It floats **IF** it is fully assembled. Unfortunately, on a trip this year, the paddle blade suddenly fell off which was surprising in of itself. But even more surprising was watching it sink. I had been paddling for 2 hours, so it would’ve have been a very long day trying to get back – but fortunately - at that moment the water was only 8 ft deep, and I was able to dive down and get recover it.Still, I love the board and the gear. But…I will be getting a back-up paddle for future trips 😊
