I bought this foil art book/kit for our princess-loving granddaughter who is just turning eight. The kit is complete in one package (always nice when everything is included in a craft kit) but the ability and interest level for this kit is along the lines of ages four to seven, in my opinion.Our almost-eight-year-old got the idea of the technique really quickly: Peel the white sheet off a section of the picture card (this leaves it sticky in that location), select a sheet of colored foil, hold it over the picture in the area you want to apply the foil, press down on the foil, rub the provided wooden stick over the foil and it will transfer that color foil on to the picture. Well-marked outlines on the pictures make it easy to apply color where desired.In addition to the cards which you can apply foil to, there are “fashion coloring cards.” These feature a variety of princess-type, ballerina and unicorn pictures, simply to color (no foil; supply your own markers or colors). These were of significantly less interest to our granddaughter. I think a younger child would enjoy these, though.Still, I appreciate that this craft provided plenty of colorful fun—and very little mess to clean up! The resulting glitter foil pictures are something our young artist was proud of.

My 6 year old niece loves this craft. It is easy to use and is so fun for her to do all by her self. It doesn't make a big mess which is a huge bonus. It comes with 80 sheets of colored foil which seems like plenty to fill all the pages. It doesn't always produce absolute perfect results but for a kids craft, she loves it.

Easy to apply foil to sticky areas. Really a unique project that keeps kids captivated.

We're really into foil art this summer and have a few kits. Some are really great and thisbone is just okay.The glue on the sticky portion is just so o and you don't get smooth coverage.The effect is less than desirable with patches of uncovered area.The spiral notebook styles gives the impression ypy can tear our pages, you can not. They are too thick and will tear.That said, it can be a great time filler in the car or while waiting a plane, doctor's office or DMV. It will keep little hands busy and there's always the coloring side. Okay, not perfect

The foil craft activity kit comes with eight sets of foil in 10 different colors for a total of 80 foil sheets. Plenty of foil to complete the assortment of fun designs. 5 of the colors are a solid colored foil & 5 of the colors have a sparkly star, circle pebble design on it. All the colors are very pretty. The pages are good quality, a thick cardstock. The activity was easy to do. It’s nice that they include directions on the first page of the book. We removed the white colored paper to reveal a sticky surface, put the foil on it and it was magically colored. Hours of fun and love that it is not messy.

My granddaughter loves working with this craft kit. The foil art is especially fun for her and easy to do. She will spend a long time working on this which is great to get her away from electronics! Great and fun product!

This is the perfect gift for that hard to shop for girl. Nice quality book and cute pages. A fun craft for kids.
