After trying the viral all in one clippers with the built in vacuum for our doodle, we quickly realized that we would need something with a lot more power. We decided on the KMC+ because it’s by a trusted brand and everyone loved their previous series. The moment I turned this clippers on it was night and day. It was quieter, more powerful, more consistent, a little heavier but in a good durable quality way but still light enough where it’s comfortable enough to hold for an hour or two. They are a lot more expensive, but when compared to the cost of a single groomer session, these become an investment.

Fan-freaking-tastic product! I’ve bought so many clippers (all corded) that I could have paid for this one 5 times over. None of them have been able to do the job I needed. I have thick-haired cats that get extremely matted all the way down to their skin. So I usually have to take them to the vet to have them anesthetized and shaved because the mats are so tight. They come back drugged and wobbly for hours, and I pay over $100 per cat to have this done twice a year. However, I decided to splurge and see if these worked. Boy did they ever! I was able to shave one of my cats in about 10 minutes with him just wandering around the bathtub. He actually seemed to enjoy it! They aren’t loud and didn’t startle him (he’s blind). They cut through the mats like butter and didn’t damage his skin - even on the tail. Plus the fact that there’s no pesky cord in my way was amazing! I have 2 Great Pyrenees dogs that I’m going to try next (just to get the mats out - I know not to actually shave that breed of dog). Fingers crossed they work as well!

These are the best cordless clippers that I have ever touched! They are amazing and worth every dollar, I will probably stick with these clippers until they stop making it or if I find another line of work. These clippers are pretty quiet, they’re not super quiet or super loud just perfect so that my dogs don’t get startled when I turn them on. The battery life isn’t the greatest when you’re doing multiple dogs in a day. In order for me to use it all day long/ not use the cord you would have to put it on the charger when the clipper work is done, which does not bother me at all until I am grooming 5+ dogs and I forget to put it on the charger then it dies in the middle of me grooming. All in all I loooove these clippers and will definitely recommend to everyone!

Buyer Beware! I purchased these the beginning of March to groom my 2 doodles. I watched and read so many reviews that these were great clippers for doodles. I received them, charged them up, and I was ready to groom my dog. First impression, they were very heavy in the hand… and you know if you’ve groomed a doodle, it takes a while! Continued on and the clippers were getting so hot I had to turn them off and cut my dogs hair in between letting the clippers cool down which is something I haven’t had to do with other clippers. This lengthened the time grooming my dog and was not ideal for the price I paid for these. A few days later my husband groomed our other dog because I wanted his opinion on the clippers and he had the same review as I did. Clippers are supposed to make your job easier and faster, and these just didn’t hit the mark. We ended up returning them and that’s where the real trouble started. It has taken them over 3 weeks to refund us. They keep delaying the refund and I’ve spoken to two Amazon CS employees and both of them lied to me saying I would be getting my refund in 3-5 days. One of them even sent me a fake refund summary, by copying and pasting my refund amount and sending it to my email to pacify me. Just want to warn others if you purchase these and end up not liking them, you might be waiting over a month for your refund.

We love our Doodles but the price of grooming is insane. Not saying a professional groomer is not worth it, they are, but the cost comes down if we keep our boys trimmed and Matt free in the meantime. This trimmer will pay for itself in 3 months. It accepts wide blades which is a Godsend when shaving larger dogs. It's pretty quiet and will heat up like a normal trimmer, so a second favorite blade is just smart, so you can switch blades and keep going. Keep checking your trimmer head regularly for heat level with your hand. Too hot for your hand means too hot for your dog. For a Doodle, we purchased a 5WF and 5W for a coat about 3/8" overall. This shaver comes with a size 10 blade for a closer cut around the face and Sani area (do face first!). This trimmer and those blades make quick work of a thick coat. You need to make sure your pooch is washed, dried and brushed out or any trimmer will have issues. Watch every video you can and know your dog will not be show dog ready the first couple of times, but with practice, you will get the hang of it. Then take your buddy to a pro groomer for that super crisp finish once a quarter or so.

Works good until it doesn’t, which in my experience, doesn’t take too long. Mine won’t charge now and I’ve had it less than a year. Too pricey to only last a few months. My corded KM works fine but this is the second KM cordless I’ve been disappointed in. Shame on me for buying the second one.

I have been a groomer for 25 yrs. I love wahl km10 but wanted cordless. Unfortunately this is way heavier than the 10 cordless. If you don't have carpal tunnel or arthritis and only using it for a short bit of a day it has a fabulous cut. But sometimes it does overheat
