New to Fallout, played Fallout 4 for 3 months solid
The product itself was as described. The game itself, didn’t live up to expectations after playing number FO4.Watched the series, of which I enjoyed too.

NOW, it’s bloody amazing!
I was late coming to the Fallout 76 party, and so missed the angst of early version problems. I’ve played all the earlier versions from Fallout One to New Vegas, they seemed to be getting to be much of a muchness so gave up on the series.Fallout 76 appeared to be more of the same but multiplayer. The thought of this, if anything, put me off. I kinda thought it would destroy the immersion of being “in another reality” effect. Anyway, all my mates who’d bought from the off were constantly moaning about the latest bug which was totally ruining the game, I was sure I’d made a clever decision to avoid any further investment in the franchise.Months went buy and mates were still moaning, but still playing? Just lately the talk has been mostly about there latest exploits and adventures with little reference to bugs. Maybe I needed to get into this after all. I found a price of £12 on Amazon, at that level not painful if it did turn out to be a duffer.Well... I’m now playing at least 4 hours a day, just got to lvl 17, and this is the best Fallout so far! The missions are well designed and very plausible. The crafting and base building are a hobby in themselves. It gets very tense, sometimes seemingly impossible missions drive me to distraction, but always there is a way around the problem. Failing that, you can get your mates to come and help you blast your way through. If you’re reading this, you need this game. Just get it!

Different vibe to the other Fallouts but has its own benefits
So I didn't buy this game for ages even thought I'm a mega Fallout fan, I rotate between Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4 and occasionally Fallout 3. I can play for hours. I got this game once I knew they had improved it and added NCPs. I am not a multiplayer player, I love wandering the wasteland on my own and just enjoying the game so I thought I wouldn't like this much, or only like parts of it. I actually love the game now. Yes it has its faults, VATs isn't as useful, the house building hasn't improved much since Fallout 4 and it has crashed on me many times (I do also miss the player's vocal delivery of conversation in Fallout 4) but... its the first time me and my partner have actually played together. I spend many hours wandering on my own, doing tasks and creeping around the wasteland waiting for my next enemy or cool location, but my partner also jumps in my world and we can meet up to help each other with challenges, use each others camps and much more. Camps, camps weren't my bag in the first days of playing, then suddenly I realised how beneficial they are to supplies and travel. The perk system I'm still getting to grips with, I did prefer the old version but I get what they are trying to do. I think also if you haven't played Fallout before you may need to watch some independent tutorials as you dont get any really. The game definitely has faults, but the world is huge, I think people often forget what goes in to creating such a massive world, with loads of locations, loads of NCPS etc.. it's a massive task to fix every bug and make it run smoothly, and I think this version is great and it looks beautiful too! I don't enjoy getting attacked at at terminal or while using my pip boy but I guess its more realistic ;-), any other player I've ever met has been friendly or going about their business too. One player totally hooked my partner up with loads of gear just to be nice! Different to GTA haha! I'll be playing this for a loooooong time.

Worst Triple A Title Ever
This game is as much fun as having your pelvis nailed to a cake stand (Monty Python cuedos). Bethesda are a joke for how all their games are released broken and buggy. In the past they got away with it due to the loyal fanbase and modders fixing the problems, but No More I Say! Not for ever more!Vapid and tedious, graphically inferior with rubbish textures, 4k is a joke, most missions are boring beyond belief, broken VATS, horrible combat system, enemies just respawn, frequent server disconnects means you lose progress and items. You would have more fun sticking a cardboard box on your head and careening round your home as Johnny Depp on a wild bender. Avoid … Like … The … Plague …

For under £10, it was worth a go, better than the launch title, but still no Fallout 3!
I've been a fan of the Fallout Series since 3 graced the PS3, many moons ago and to me, despite gameplay and graphic improvements since then, no other Fallout game has yet to hold a candle to it...including this one!Massively and fairly maligned at launch for its empty, sandbox world, 76 has improved since then, but...is still...pretty empty. The single player story is ok, it's pretty good, but no great improvements over 4 barring not including a very annoying Preston Garvey-type character and has actually regressed in many other aspects. The Minecraft-esque, 'build your base(s)' aspect is back, not to my personal glee, but if that's your thing...you can use it, I much prefer Fallout for its deep, story driven missions, post-apocalyptic lore and random / funny encounters, this game has all this, but at a much smaller scale than 3, New Vegas and 4.Being online is pretty...ok...you can team up with or fight against other online players or ignore them all completely, but I find it personally to be more of a hindrance than anything, especially after a couple times I finally mustered up the patience to build my stupid, mandatory base, to find it had disappeared because some other online players had built one on that exact spot! A glitch? A very annoying one if so!At £5/7, it was worth a shot and I don't feel conned, but I don't feel I've found a bargain bin miracle either.IMPORTANT : You NEED online connectivity and a Playstation Plus paid account to play this game, it will not work at all without either of these two paid services...which sucks!

Fallout 76 the way it should be!
With all the expansions and bug fixes and NPCs added into the game. I feel this is what Fallout 76 should've always been. Now I call it a game.

Ottimo gioco
