I really like this matte case because it fits my phone perfectly and it's not bulky like most other cases, which allows me to carry it in my back pocket without discomfort. It is a plastic rubbery texture on the inside and a matte texture with a design on the outside. I think the matte texture works to keep it looking cleaner and the detail on the back is okay. The case also comes with a cleaning cloth and a screen protector for the phone, a plus.The only downside that I've found is that the phone can become permanently stained over time. I have the clear gray case and it took on a yellowish tint on the inside part, which peeks thru on the back side. I've had it now for about two years. I'm sure if I were to have bought a darker, more opaque color, this wouldn't be visible. To be fair, this is my only case and it's been on my phone 24/7 with only a few cleans in between.Overall, the case doesn't do anything more than keep your phone protected from scratches, but that is all I want/need from a phone case. Personally, I'm not a fan of larger, bulky cases, so this works for me. It comes in many colors as well!

The case fits the phone like a glove. Really adds some extra grip to the handling of the phone. The s4 mini is inherently slippery and I was certain I would drop and break it before this case arrived. The case doesn't add bulk or weight, which I like.I carry my phone in the pocket of my jeans. I had ordered a silicone cover for the last phone I had and it made it really hard to get in and out of my pocket. Although this is rubberized and textured, the phone still slips right in and out of a pocket without catching.The screen protector was an added bonus. It installed easily. No bubbles and thin enough that I don't even notice it's there.I can't comment on protection in a drop situation since it hasn't happened. I am sure it provides some level of protection, but if you are prone to dropping your phone, you might look into something like a Trident case.

When it comes to phone cases, I was looking for a product that had a low profile but was still able to protect my phone. This honeycomb case did exactly what I was hoping it would do and I have yet to be disappointed with it! It's a one piece case that simply slips on the back of the phone, wraps around, and locks itself on the front edges of the face. It leave ample room around all buttons and ports, including the charging, headphone, and microphone ports. The case itself is rubbery and thin, so it thankfully doesn't add much bulk to the phone. I have dropped my phone numerous times, and have yet to see any damage to the case, let alone the phone! Of course I still have a screen protector as this does not protect the screen. In addition, the ease of taking the case off and on makes it easy to clean the phone when needed or access the battery.If you are looking for a low profile, budget friendly case for you Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, this is definitely a case I would highly recommend!

OK cover, it's comfortable and sleek with a grippy back but don't expect any major protection for your phone for drops and scrapes. Also started to pop off the phone for me routinely, after a couple of months of use. Went with a slightly better more protective cover after this.

I purchased this case to replace one with raised buttons on the left and right sides. The raised buttons make it too easy to push them without intending too. I turned down the volume and miss calls on several occasions.This case has a cut out for the buttons, which creates "recessed" buttons. It's still easy to use the buttons, but you don't press them on accident.Case is slim and minimalist but gives full coverage/protection, which is what I look for.

An solid case. It is soft, protects the back and corners nicely, and since it wraps around the front just slightly it helps prevent the screen from hitting the ground when you drop it. And if you set it face down the screen won't make contact with the table surface you've set it upon. All the port holes line up nicely and after removing it several times it still holds to the phone very well. I've had this case for 8 months.

This is the perfect case for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. It is slim and stylish. Offers protection against scratching. I have not dropped my phone, so I'm not sure about how durable it would be.
