I am always looking for ways to protect my brain's cognitive function (like not taking anesthesia for medical procedures) ever since I experienced what they call "chemo-brain" 4 years ago. I have never tried this method of increased ATP - by increasing acetylcholine in the brain to help cognition, focus & clarity. This has no artificial colors or flavors, so that is a win too. Not sure yet how long it takes for this product to work, I'll just have to keep trying. I have purchased other supplements from Force Factor and they were very good and I like that it is made in the USA.

I am very fascinated by the world of nootropics and must say that Alpha GPC is my first experimentation with them. I have to admit that I’ll have to try them out longer to be able to say definitively whether they work but I will say this: after trying it out for a bit I am inspired to go further. I had a huge writing projext due and well, I got it done at a faster rate than I had been working at prior to taking this supplement. Whether it was the pressure of a moved-up deadline or increased efficiency due to supplementation has yet to be seen. The results are promising though!

I've been taking these pills (2/day) for the past week, and so far I've not noticed any difference. There is no negative reaction to them (which can be diarrhea or heartburn for some), which is a positive, but I also haven't noticed any improvement in memory. The application of this supplement is well documented. Per WebMD: "Alpha-GPC seems to increase the levels of a chemical in the brain called acetylcholine. This brain chemical is important for memory and learning functions. In some countries in Europe, alpha-GPC is a prescription drug." It is typically prescribed for people with Alzheimers, so maybe for someone like me who is experiencing age-related memory loss, it just doesn't address the core issue (old brain?).

Some of the Force Factor Store products have really good reviews so I thought I would try this one. The Alpha GPC Brain Supplement for Memory and Focus seems good. You really have to look at the doses for these before buying. This is a 60 count but it is only a 30 day supply as the dose is 2. This formula has hypromellos. I had to look it up to see what that was! Apparently it is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC), which is a semisynthetic viscoelastic polymer used in eye drops - it may be because it can cause a coating. Not thrilled about that. It also has cellulose. I'm unsure about taking them now that I read that. Will need to look more into it before consuming.

I've started to take Apha GPC and it's hard to notice a change when something changes slowly over time. I can say I haven't had any adverse reactions from taking the capsules. Force Factor maintains their quality in the ingredients and filling the capsules. You won't taste any flavor while taking these.

Force factor is a quality brand. I have been taking alpha gpc( different brand) after listening to an Andrew Huberman podcast. I take alpha gpc to help with focus, this seems to work as well as my other brand but this has a better price point so is a better value.
