Our dog has been having Castor & Pollux for over 10 years and it is very sad to see them discontinued.

My dogs love this and get crazy excited about it every time they eat. Their coats look great and I am confident I am giving them quality food.

My dog loves the salmon bits and I love the fact that this really seems great for her health and her coat. It is more expensive than some, but you only get so long with your dog so you might as well make the best of each moment. Nutrition matters!

I have two dogs, a 1 year old golden retriever and a 4 year old beagle. Both are in great health but wanted to make sure we stuck with an all natural, organic dog food. Recently, my beagle has been sneezing and backward sneezing like crazy. I know everyone is having bad allergies this year but it recently became alot more than usual. She would eat her food at dinner but not in the morning. I switched to the chicken and sweet potato and she gulped that down this morning. My golden has been great, her coat is super soft. Didn't help too too much on the shedding though.Has anyone else's dog experienced a fish allergy?

I have a Cane Corso that eats 4-6 cups of food a day, so make no mistake about it, this food costs me between $300-400/month. That said, it’s worth every penny. She is sensitive to both chicken and beef, and this is one of the few foods I’ve found that contains neither product. So her dry skin, gas, yeast problems, and loose stools are all gone. She’s just a healthy dog, and I attribute it largely to this food. To help minimize the cost, I’ll add toppers to this so I can use less kibble. I’ll add some turkey broth, or some raw meat, or some of the stews from Honest Kitchen, and that helps me still meet her caloric needs (she’s a working dog) while being able to stretch the time between dropping $90 on a relatively small bag of kibble. But even without the toppers, I’d say the quality of this kibble makes the price worth it, as I can literally see the health benefits play out before my eyes. So, as long as this is available, it’ll be the only dog food I buy.

I have been giving this to my dog for over five years and he loves it. His bowel movements are always regular as a result. His coat is also very shiny and eyes clear which I attribute to this food. Recently, in the last year or two this product has also included little grain balls which are even more yummy given my dog’s overjoyed reaction as he devours those first!Love that it’s not grain free given recent medical studies.

For the past year this company has been playing games with making this food available to regular customers. When the inventory is low, it also seems like independent buyers purchase it and then resist it for exorbitant prices, which are so high that one must laugh; but not really. Bottom line, the company clearly allows this as well as it now seems to be a practice.It even seems that the regular food category gets sold out, and it’s not available until the additional types, some of them inferior, that this company also sells are also no longer available. After giving this company the benefit of a doubt, thinking that there must have been a glitch, we realize that it is a severe failure on the part of the company. Our Pristine food cannot be secured reliably and there are no explanations, warnings, or any kind. We had decided to purchase more than our immediate needs, but have lost patience.To subject our puppies to this practice is not only stressful for them, but hurts the health that we WERE trying to help maintain. Good luck with your future, but we will not return. We had fed our last four dogs this food, for many years. We were happy with the nutritional value and the preventative qualities that it addressed. We no longer have any kind of respect for this company, as I suspect similarly of others who have found themselves ‘surviving’ similar conditions.Our new company has a better reputation which they have earnestly earned and we hope to feed our pets for all the years ahead.

Easy online ordering of my pup's favorite food. Good healthy stuff! The shipping box was too large for the interior contents so the box busted open. So the outer box was open when delivered, but all contents were unharmed inside.
