I've been searching for a a supportive ankle brace that fits perfectly, and the search is still on.According to the size chart, the upper range of a large is 12.8". My measurement around my heel is 13". The large should provide perfect compression since I 'sized down'. This ankle brace feels like a toeless sock. I fear a medium would be too tight. I am going to wear them over my sock, which may offer better compression.I read other reviews from those who received a large. One says they're size is an 8 and the large was too tight. By the name I'm assuming they're a man, so that would be a ladies 10. I wear a ladies 10 and the large it not snug enough. Another person who wears a 9 says they would like a snugger fit. The shoe size is interesting, but it's a measurement of the length of the foot. The measurement to determine the size for this brace goes around the heel.The only other thing I can think of that is affecting the fit is chubbiness of the foot itself. My feet are pretty bony, no fat cells there at all. Maybe if some fell from my thunder thighs to my feet, these would fit better.These ankle braces are very well made, but here is some gapping at the top of the foot at the ankle, as they're made without the proper angle for the foot, they actually curve outward where they should curve inward They look fine if I point my foot, but gap when it's in normal position. The price of $11 for the pair is very good, and one of the lowest on Amazon for a pair of ankle supports.

My right ankle is bone on bone joint is pretty much gone. These help to support for times when its really bothering me.

I am wear size 8 shoes and I have got size L for these sleeves.First, I tried wearing them while playing badminton. I was in pain and have to take them off. I felt huge squeezes on both feet. There's no way to continue playing while wearing them. So, I thought maybe these are for recovery and not for prevention.So, afterward I put them back on while I mostly just sitting doing office work. I guess I have them on for close to 2 hours and suddenly I felt pain on my left leg, not the foot this time. The sleeves were so tight that they made round indentations on my legs.Based on my experience, they are not good for active sport wearing, i.e. not for prevention. As for recovery use, a timer should be used so one does not wear them too long and cut off you own circulations.Use with cautions.

I like this product & it seems to provide the ankle support I need-all day!

I was looking for a way to reduce the swelling in my foot and also get some relief from my Plantar symptoms.Although this class of products are generally considered generic in nature, this copper infused variety is both cheap and effective. The looks are really nice. For my size (US Male 12), this socks fit quite well. And as I said the price is perfect. Five full stars.

I love this pair of ankle braces. Reinforced with copper, these are supposed to hold their elasticity and shape for a long time and through many washes. So far so good on these. They fit true to size if you use the chart and give great compression and they support my ankle very well. I have a weak right ankle from a previous injury and this compression sleeve really gives me piece of mind when I am running or playing court sports for cutting and general gait issues that I have sometimes. It provides a stabilizing presence that I really enjoy and feel comfortable with. My calves are a bit bigger so the sleeves have a tendency to roll down at the top so maybe I should have gone a size bigger but I didn't want to sacrifice the compression on my ankles so I can deal with the uncomfortable rolling at the top.5 Stars = Excellent brand and product, great deal!4 Stars = Really good product with a minor fault or two.3 Stars = Average just like the number. Good not great.2 Stars = May be OK, but there are glowing issues with it.1 Star = Avoid at all costs!
